Aberdunant Hall Holiday Park is one of North Wales best kept secrets. Located within a massive 200 acres of stunning woodland valley on the edge of Snowdonia, this charming holiday park is perfect for couples and families looking for a relaxing break in Wales.

The site has a convenient location set between the quaint fishing port of Porthmadog known for it's golden beaches, and the picturesque mountain village of Bedgellert which is famous for its walking and hiking trails. This unique location will appeal to many looking for a base to explore this lovely region.

Of course you may prefer to sit back and watch the world go by at the upmarket Country Club which has been completely renovated recently. Within the country club you will have access to the restaurant, bar and bistro with excellent outdoor terrace and the benefit of outstanding views across the North Wales mountains.

The beautiful area simply must be explored with the delights of Snowdonia right on the doorstep. There are breathtaking mountains and beautiful beaches offering dramatic landscapes and many outdoor activities. The Snowdon Mountain Railway is a good place for a day trip and you can relax on board and enjoy the scenery. The unique village of Portmeirion is also worth a visit and was the setting of the TV series The Prisoner. The area is also home to several castles including Harlech Castle and Caernarfon Castle.

Reviews of Aberdunant Hall Holiday Park have praised the site for being very safe for children and have commented on the beauty of the area. Others have talked of the wildlife including the rabbits hopping around the site and the many species of birds. One recent visitor described their stay as the most relaxing holiday for a long time and commended the park for being peaceful and wonderfully located.

Fun Days Out in Gwynedd

Treasure Island Fun Centre is situated in the Anglesey area of North of Wales and there is really no better place to take children on a rainy day. The fantastic all weather attraction features a huge array of slides, chutes, climbing frames, ball pools and mazes. Energetic kids can really let of steam while the grown ups can relax in the cafe with a drink and a snack. There are separate areas four younger children to play safely, so no one is left out of the fun.

Penrhyn Castle is a neo-Norman castle is located in the stunning Gwynedd region of Wales. The castle will appeal to those who enjoy sites of historical interest as well as to families looking to enjoy a fun day out. The Castle is in very good condition and guided tours are on offer. Don't miss a look at the grand hall with its exquisite collection of paintings or the Victorian Kitchen which gives amazing insight into the running of the Castle. Other highlights include the Servants Rooms and the one ton slate bed which was originally made for Queen Victoria.

This attraction is really something special and has reached the finals of the "Best Family Day Out" category in the National Tourism Awards for Wales.  It's actually the only attraction in North Wales to be shortlisted for this prestigious award. Located in the Snowdonia region there are many rides and activities including Jungle Boat Adventure, Den Building, Green Dragon Roller Caoster, Treetop Towers and the BareFoot Trail.  Kids of all ages will love it here and we think it's excellent value as well.

Located in the North of Wales with a spectacular setting high above Colwyn Bay this is a lovely zoo which makes an excellent family day out.  Highlights include the Chimp Encounter, Penguin Parades, Bear Falls and the Children's Farm.  The setting is perfect for walking around and you can take in the superb scenery, roam the wooded pathways and relax on the grassy slopes.  There are many rare and endangered species to see and learn about including the Snow Leopards and the Red Pandas not to mention the Sumatran Tigers. You can also buy the experience of being a zoo keeper for a day, either for yourself or as a gift.

We did have a good holiday. The site was lovely and very picturesque nice lot of walks.
The caravan was spacious, the one problem was there was not anywhere to hang anything coats or towels in the bathroom no towel holder it was a bit inconvenient.
The cleanliness could have been a bit better there was food stuck in the plughole little things that make a difference.
On the whole we had a lovely time.
We did not use the restaurant.

stayed for 4 nights from 18.09.17, nice site, caravan was lovely, had a great meal in the restaurant, only 10 min from Porthmadog, would definitely go back if we got another good deal.
Rob
Peaceful setting, pristine caravan, a perfect break
Barry
Lovely setting plenty of walks for our dog caravan spotless would return in the summer
Elaine
Beautiful park, lovely caravan that was clean and really spacious. Location was perfect.
David
Lovely new caravan - could have been slightly better equipped for kitchenware (oven tray, oven to table dishes etc). But overall very palatial. Staff were excellent when we had an issue with the central heating boiler -fixed immediately. Also came to re-tune TV after a windy night affected reception. A thoughtful touch. Thanks
Susan
Beautiful Site very relaxing, lo.vely food at hotel
Emma
This caravan park is gorgeous-set in stunning surroundings and close to beaches, quaint towns and mountains. The park is beautifully maintained and our caravan was modern, clean and warm. I'd definitely come again!
Lynn
The Park location and site were excellent. Well laid out with plenty of space between caravans. The caravan itself was lovely, although the guest room (twin room) was a bit of a tight squeeze but we managed. The hotel, bar and restaurant looked amazing but we did not dine there. The only slight downside was that the children's play area was very small.
