We had a great time.
If you want a relaxing time away from the hussel & bussel, leaving modern technology behind this is the place to go
Beautiful views & lovely countryside
Could be doing with a few more utensils especially an egg flip.although I'm sure if I had asked for one at reception they would have given me one.
Neil, Dalton In Furness, Cumbria.
recommended for a peaceful time away
Lodge could do with some more kitchen utensils.
Absolutely fantastic holiday park. Been 3 times this year and loved everytime. Myself and my partner went with our two dogs and theres plenty of beautiful places to go walking. One of our dogs is nervous around other dogs so weve always struggled to find a dog friendly place where he can go on stress free walks and theres so many places to go here you rarely bump into other dogs so its ideal! The park owners are really nice and friendly. Theres no phone signal in the park so its a fantastic place to get away. Would definitely recommend this place. Cant wait to go back.
Great location. Pet friendly. Super helpful staff. Highly recommend.

Lovely accommodation in a very peaceful remote location - perfect! Cant wait for our next visit.
Staff were friendly, accommodation was good, clean comfortable & stocked with essentials, the site had a good selection of games & DVD's for hire
Lots of bird life
Would highly recommend
Excellent accomodation. Helpful staff and beautiful surroundings. No phone signal no wifi. Perfect peace and quiet
only downside pub not in walking distance.
Very spacious and well equipped lodge. Very clean and comfortable. Not the easiest place to find, and very remote. No phone signal or wi fi, and no entertainment, but we knew this, and had fun with board games dominoes and cards. We had some great walks with our wee dog, and visited the Buddhist retreat. All in all, it was a very peaceful relaxing time.
This was about our 10th visit to site as we love it. As long as you understand what you are booking i.e a holiday in a quiet area you will not be disappointed. The current wardens are great. We'll be booking again as we love the peace and the tranquillity.
excellent service from the warden who go the extra mile to ensure you have a great stay at this park
