Visitor Reviews of Angecroft Park

Date of stay: 30th May 2022
Caravan was lovely, very well equipped. What I loved about the kitchen area was that there was lots of storage cupboards, somewhere to actually put your food.

Arrived at 3:10pm after a long journey to be told I was 50mins early for checkin. No hello, did you have a good journey or anything. Told checkout was 9am when booking details state 10am. Lady showing to cabin was pleasant. Park is in the middle of the Ettrick Valley which is in the middle of nowhere. I loved this. Cabin itself is outdated but that didnt bother me. I found it lovely to relax in for the weekend. No wifi but full 4G phone signal with no issues to download and browse which was great. Nearest shop and town for Selkirk 40mins away which I already knew about. All in all the welcome was a let down but the location, cabin, price and overall experience was great and I would certainly return again.

Cabin was a bit old and smelly! Sofas could do with a deep clean. Can't complain too much though, I've stayed in worse!

Overall the holiday was very relaxing and we enjoy our stay in the caravan. Unfortunately near the end of our holiday, we will bitten by midges. Cause lots of irritation and discomfort. We will glad to leave the area and away from midges.

Lovely lodge only negative if I really had to find one was the settee was very worn an the cushions were well used. But still comfortable. Didn't really bother me but if I had to find a slight negative that would be it. But the lodge was lovely and spacious.

The Tima log cabin was very well equipped, a great size kitchen with a 7foot tall fridge freezer, great cooker, and lots of essential cooking equipment, very well stocked, and a nice 6 seater dining table. The living area was bright, spacious, modern and very comfortable, good TV with free view. Two single bedrooms and a king-size bedroom, one bathroom and one shower room. Great Central heating, exceptionally clean throughout, and all fixtures, fittings and furniture where modern and in excellent condition. There is a lovely balcony area to the front with a bench and a picnic table on the grass outside.

Was a fantastic holiday weekend away was great to get away from everything. Very peaceful. There is no wifi ( unless you are beside the reception)or phone signal so if you want a peaceful break away this is your place. Only downside was the shop was closed on Saturday and there was no reason or opening hours for the small shop. You will need to take food and all the things you will need as the local shops are an hour away if you need anything.

Our stay at Angecroft Park provided everything we were looking for.

We stayed in one of the Tima Lodges which was comfortable and spacious with everything we needed.

We were looking for a quiet relaxing break and thats exactly what we got. The park is small and quiet with lovely scenery. There is no phone signal and only WiFi at reception but this allowed us a peaceful break where we could switch off from work.

The staff were friendly and helpful when required.

We would definitely return again.

We had a family holiday, three generations and there was plenty of things for all of us to do and enjoy.
It was a `getting away from it all` type of holiday. We all felt that

We were a family of 3 generations and we all enjoyed the holiday. We all said that we felt better for it and are keen to go back. There were things still to see and do.

I really enjoyed the peacefulness of this park, no internet suited me fine. A bonus to be able to take my dog at no extra cost also.
I intend on returning ASAP.
