Bluewood Lodges are part of the Autograph Collection which are a select group of holiday parks offering high quality stylish and contemporary lodge accommodation.  Bluewood Lodges make the perfect romantic retreat tucked away in a small, stunning Bluebell Wood.

These lodges are an excellent base for exploring all that the Cotswolds have to offer and at the end of a busy day you can head back to your luxury lodge which has been carefully furnished with spacious decking outside. All of the lodges come with sunken outdoor hot tubs perfect for unwinding and spending quality time together.

Other activities include bike hire, BBQ hire, fishing and horse riding. Golf, cycling and walking trails are all within easy reach. A stay at Bluewood Lodges will really leave you feeling refreshed and rested.  Some of our favourite lodges here include the three bedroom Churchill Lodge for larger parties.  This is a spacious lodge sleeping six in one double and two twin rooms.  The Kingham and the Norton Lodges are also luxury options with the Norton Lodge being a superior New England Style VIP lodge perfect for special occasions.

Oxfordshire is an area full of rural charm topped off with stunning scenery. Places of interest include the attractive towns of Chipping Norton and Burford and you can also visit Blenheim Palace which was the birthplace of Winston Churchill. The city of Oxford is well worth a visit with lovely architecture and excellent shops as well as a thriving cafe culture.

With recent reviews describing the accommodation as top of the range and first class it's easy to see why these lodges are so popular. Reviews also describe the site as quiet and relaxing with beautiful surroundings.

Everything was what we wanted with one exception, we were a couple wanting a quite weekend and were surrounded by other couples wanting the same, unfortunately we were also placed next to a very very noisy family with young children. Made using the hot tub unpleasant at times and their music etc could be heard in our lodge .

Very relaxing, lots of nearby pubs and places to eat though ensure you have food for dinner at the lodge as a lot of places shut early

Bed was comfy. Stain on the bedding. Needed to hoover under the bed as lots of dust/dirt.
Toilet was lose on the wall fixture.
Skirting board behind toilet/next to shower was rotten and needed replacing.
Seemed to have been an issue with bathroom drainage as sink/bath/shower took a while to empty.
Bath shower head clip was broken so this had to be hung round the taps.
Water temperature very hit and miss.
Light switches that were dimmers but didn't dim/had no turning fixture.

Fully equipped kitchen which isn't documented enough - this is a vey rare thing to find so market this more!
Useful to have a washing machine and dryer, even for a short stay.
Liked the waste/recycling bins, as you usually only have a household waste option.
Didn't use the sauna unfortunately.

We arrived around 4pm in the winter so it was dark, would have been nice to arrive to an outside light on. The steps were very slippy, and I dropped the key which took a while to find in the dark.

Super lovely relaxing place. My only negative comments would be the wi fi and the restaurant closing but we managed.

The lodge itself (cupid no.30) can't be faulted. A late November stay was risky, but the heating is fantastic and the hot tub was used every evening. We cooked on two nights and the kitchen is well equipped, there's plenty of living/dining space, a small hallway to leave muddy boats and coats, gorgeous bedroom with a dressing room complete with sauna!!! the bathroom is massive.

Just don't forget washing up liquid like we did!

A lovely stay - the cabin was clean, tidy and modern. A very quiet location but easy to get to and find.
Marie
Nice to do nothing for a few days took DVD’s , caught the train into Oxford one day , would definitely go back, beautiful lodge.hot tub
Alan
Good location for exploring the Cotswolds. Convenient rail link for a trip to Oxford or London. Private hot tub. A well presented and equipped lodge. Hygiene standards are high. Only criticisms would be the bed, the mattress needs changing as there is a lot of roll together and little support. Also the WiFi could be better. I will use Bluewood again.
Ana
It was amazing and thank you Ricky for making it perfect
Peter
Great holiday. Been to Cupid's Lodge 5 times and looking forward to our next visit.
Victoria
Booked 3 nights at the Juliet Lodge in Jan. Had a lovely time & amenities were as expected. It was lovely having a hot tub & sauna. Definitely a must to have a Hot Tub with roof. Also the lodge was very well insulated & warm. My only “negative” is that the bedroom was a little cramped. However the bathroom was very spacious. The sound of the extractor fans were a little annoying but eventually it stops. Maybe bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper...
Neil
Very friendly staff welcomed with a glass of prosecco. Very spacious and smart lodge with plenty of space. Great to be able to relax in the hot tub while looking at the amazing views
Charlotte
Was such a wonderful experience and one I would gladly do again.
Stuart
A beautiful park with well maintained lodges. Hot tub is wonderful as is the sauna. The area is amazing with lots of wonderful places to eat. We, my girlfriend and I, went in January for a long weekend to relax and got great value for money. I can’t wait to go back and try out some of the other lodges. Forgot to say, we stayed in the cupid lodge.
