Bridlingon Holiday Cottages (formerly Carnaby Heritage Park) has a tranquil setting just off a peaceful country lane and yet is only a few miles from the seaside town of Bridlington with a host of shops, bars and restaurants.

The accommodation is modern and stylish.  The Wilsthorpe is a contemporary cottage on one level with a double bedroom and a room with bunk beds - ideal for families.  The open plan lounge/diner is well designed for family living.

If you want to add more luxury to your stay then opt for the Carnaby cottage with outdoor hot tub.  Hot tubs are the perfect way to relax and unwind after a busy day exploring.

This beautiful area of the UK is ideal for days out.  We love Cruckley Animal Farm just 7 miles from the cottages - with it's daily milking sessions, kids petting paddock and cute minitaure donkeys.  Children of all ages will have a fun day out here.

Our Top Tip
"For great shopping head for Freeport Hornsea - fantastic shopping with up to 60% off high street prices. You will also find free parking and play areas for the little ones."

Fun Days Out in Yorkshire Moors & Coast

Jorvik Viking Centre is a fun and educational attraction offering visitors the chance to learn all about the Viking-Age city of Jorvik. Thanks to the Archaeologists from York Archaeological Trust the amazing houses, workshops and backyards of the Viking-Age city of Jorvik are on display and give a clear insight to the way of life all those years ago.  The site aims to offer an interactive experience with the state of the art time capsule and the blacksmith's furnace being the top attractions.

If you are enjoying a lodge break in the Yorkshire Moors and Coast then a day trip to the Scarborough Sea Life and Marine Sanctuary highly recommended. This centre is one of the regions most popular attractions and is educational as well as fun. Visitors will enjoy a journey beneath the waves, meeting many strange, beautiful and fascinating creatures of the deep. As well as mighty sharks and beautiful rays guests can get up close to some more common creatures including star fish and can also meet the otters, seals and penguins at feeding time. The site also has children's play area and picnic tables as well as a restaurant and souvenir shop. Family tickets cost 46.80 but the Tourist Information Centres in Scarborough, Whitby or Filey often offer fantastic discounts.

My fiance and myself stayed here for the first time at the beginning of May and we both absolutely loved it. The location of the accommodation was in a perfect location with so much on our doorstep. We visited so many beautiful places and can safely say that we will definitely book here again. We are both huge animal and wildlife lovers and to see so many friendly and content peacocks roaming around was lovely as was wakening to the sounds of their calls every morning. Such a lovely place to stay. I would recommend Bridlington holiday cottages to anyone who is thinking about holidaying in this area.

Great place. The only thing i would say is take earplugs as the peacocks wake u up around 3 30! But lovely clean cottages and great hot tub!
Caroline
Perfect base for exploring the Yorkshire coast. Clean, spacious villa with the added bonus of a hot tub. Would definitely look to stay again if visiting the area.

These holiday bungalows are great if you want a quiet, relaxing holiday but close to the beach. The location is great, we don't like big noisy busy places and so Bridlington Holiday Cottages are ideal for us. The park & ride car park is great as it is only 5 minutes away, close enough for several trips to the beach & then back to the bungalow for coffee! There is lots to see & do if you want to venture out, we went to RSPB Bempton to see the nesting birds. Close by is a great pub, The Lobster Pot, with a lovely beer garden for doggies. We will definitely be back again.
Kelly
This was our second stay at Bridlington Holiday Cottages and we intend to come back again. Lovely peaceful location but still close enough to walk into Brid. Cottage was clean and lovely as it was the last time.
Rebecca
