Located in an idyllic spot surrounded by glorious Ayrshire countryside, these country style lodges will appeal to many.  The 25 acres of well kept grounds will provide a lovely setting for your holiday as well as plenty of amenities right on the doorstep including a first class leisure complex.

The wonders of southwest Scotland just wait to be explored from countryside to coastline. Think clifftop walks and strolls in the Galloway Forest Park.  Further afield there are the Highlands with spectacular scenery.

If you choose to stay on the park itself you will have plenty of options.  The leisure complex is superb with indoor pool, sauna and gym.  You can be as active or relaxed as you choose.  For little ones there is a children's adventure playground and golfers will love the 9 hole putting green.

Accommodation at Brunston Castle Resort is a selection of spacious lodges.  The Turnberry Lodge is a two storey lodge sleeping 6 with 3 bedrooms and patio doors leading to an outside terrace. The living area is open plan.  We also love the Castlewood Lodge which has one double and two twin bedrooms and open plan living area not forgetting the verandah accessed through patio doors.

Our Top Tip
"Heads of Ayr Park is just 10 miles away and packed with great activities with over 50 species of animal to see."

Fun Days Out in Ayrshire

Landmark Theme Park is a popular family attraction in Scotland and is a great choice for those with children of varied ages. The site is packed with attractions to keep the whole family amused. Landmark is rather unique as a theme park as it is based around nature. Activities include Tree Topping and Rock climbing although there are also some more traditional theme park rides such as a log flume. The park is abundant with nature including Red Squirrels and Clydesdale Horses and there is also a new Pinewood Grill for tasty snacks and a Gift Shop.

The amazing Loudoun Castle Theme Park is the largest in Scotland taking up a staggering 500 acres of glorious countryside. The park is suitable for visitors of all ages and has an excellent choice of rides including thrilling Rollercoasters. The site also hosts some fantastic family shows including the popular 'Walk the Plank' High Dive Show.  This place is much more than a theme park though, and younger children in particular will love the Dougal McDougal's farm area where the inhabitants include friendly goats, pigs and llamas as well as rabbits and other small pets.

Excellent accommodation spoiled only by 2 things. Lack of lighting other than overhead light in living room and cheap and nasty wardrobe doors in double bedroom.

Fantastic location, I would definitely recommend it to the people I like and would holiday there again. The only downside was the accommodation had a horrible smell we had to purchase some airfreshners and constantly open the windows and spray the rooms to get rid of the smell. Also some of the cutlery was dirty and the pillows were almost paper thin.

However all in all the accommodation had everything you need even things I didn't think of where there. The heating worked well which helped create a cozy environment. All of the rooms were spacious enough. It was a lovely home away from home.
Emma
We had a lovely holiday here. The newly refurbished reception building was lovely. The kids enjoyed the pool and the grown ups made use of the coffee shop.

Really good value for money accommodation. Lovely spacious lodge and very clean. The facilities are good (9pm close is perhaps a little too early in my opinion), no alcohol served in the Bar/Lounge but you are able to take your own and glasses were provided. Overall, all the people in my party were really happy with the stay. Good location to take in plenty of golf courses. (inc Trump Turnberry). We were a group of 8 people and did struggle with transport at first as the taxi firms offered by reception could not accommodate us for any trips. We discovered a minibus driver (Paul Ellis Minibus Hire) based in the nearby Girvan who we utilised for the entire stay and I cannot recommend Paul enough. Always on time and good prices. Pauls service was not recommended to us by reception although as we discovered after that they had his business cards behind the counter, We found him from a Girvan resident.
Richard
A wonderful air of peace and tranquility. The lodges are large, comfortable and well maintained. The setting and views (particularly over the golf course) are beautiful. The staff manage the site with friendly professionalism and are very helpful with support and local knowledge. The only slight negatives are, if you are travelling with individuals of limited mobility the chalets ate situated on a steep slope and that as wifi is not available in chalets you have to go to reception or the golf club house to use that facility. However it afforded our trip with much needed quiet and distance from our normal hectic days.
Marie
Excellent family break! Ideal location, excellent accommodation & fantastic facilities!
Kathy
We had the best holiday ever and our 3 sons have asked if we can book straightaway for next year too ;)
Julia
Wonderful location, excellent service, happiest staff. Thank you.
Susanne
A lovely holiday with our children and grandchildren. The lodge was spacious, beautifully presented and there was plenty of room for games and fun. We particularly enjoyed the balcony and the weather was kind enough to allow us to sit outside and observe the wildlife. Things to improve for us were instructions to operate the oven/grill - there were two booklets in a drawer which directed us to pages 16/18 but that section had been taken out in both! Settees were spacious and offered lots of room but the larger one had a desire to tip you on to the floor as you stood up - maybe choose something a bit more stable. Other than that, dining facilities, beds were very comfy - a king size bed in the master bedroom? The surrounding area is lovely with plenty of places to visit and picnic. We would love to visit again.
Ian
Truly exceptional, the staff were a credit to your company.
