Small, yet perfectly positioned to allow you to explore the New Forest, Forest Edge is a peaceful park with some good family facilities. With walks and cycle routes that include the South West Coast Path at Poole and the climb past Hardy's Monument in Dorchester, this part of Hampshire gives you amazing views over some truly beautiful countryside.

The park has an outdoor swimming pool, a large hot tub and a games room. You'll also be able to enjoy the activities and leisure facilities at Oakdene Forest, just a mile or so away. Bournemouth has an excellent choice of restaurants and pubs - Coriander is a lively Mexican restaurant with a great party atmosphere.

Forest Durlston is a good choice of caravan for a party of four - it's 12 foot wide and has a double and a twin bedroom, central heating and a well equipped kitchen. All the caravans are double glazed and have TVs.

Hampshire has many sports and activities to offer - you could go scuba diving in Christchurch, surfing in Bournemouth and if you're brave enough, try skydiving in Salisbury!

Our Top Tip
"The Rapids in Romsey has three pools with a 75 metre flume, water cannons, bubble seats and an adventure play area for younger children."

We were very comfortable. There is ample room to move about in all the rooms - even the double bedroom, which has its own en suite bathroom. The bed is very comfortable and there is plenty of storage space.
Cooking is easy in the kitchen. The oven, microwave and fridge are all very convenient and easy to use.
The caravan is light and airy - but warms up very quickly, if you switch the heating on.

Lovely stay, clean and tidy lodge, staff very friendly and accommodating, neighbouring park a few minutes walk away with good facilities for use. Would definitely stay again.
Jane
We stayed at Forest Edge because we wanted a comfortable and cheap base, from which to visit the New Forest and surrounding area. It suited us perfectly. The accommodation was very comfortable and well maintained and there were so many places to visit that we ran out of time.
Kevin
Fantastic place loved it so did the dog many thanks.....
Roger
fantastic had time off my life my only complaint was that I had an argument with next door van over parking, would be a good idea to tell one where to park.
Carol
The park is small and quiet, there are nice forestry commission walks just across the road. The accomodation was beautifully clean and everything worked. The lady in the office on our arrival was lovely. Very friendly and helpful, she made us feel very welcome. On the negative side, the park is on the A31 and there is a lot of traffic noise but this is a small thing and we did get used to it. There is no club house on this site (a plus for me) but there are entertainment facilities on a neighbouring site which is within walking distance. My pet was made welcome, we had a nice relaxing break and I would definitely use the site again if I were visiting the New Forest in future.
Dawn
Lovely caravan, en-Suite toilet for main bedroom. Traffic noisy as near main road but ok. Nice quiet (not many screaming kids)site. Family sister site 15 minutes walk. Supermarkets and somewhere to eat nearby.
