Fun Days Out in Norfolk

This award winning wildlife attraction has much to offer both families and couples looking for a fun and educational day out.  You can discover a whole wild world of animals with over 1000 different animals from around the world. You will probably want to try and spend the whole day here so you don's miss out on anything.  Highlights include the amazing animals presentation, the birds of prey display and the feeding talks, all of which take place at set times of the day.  This attraction is fantastic value for money and highly recommended.  Their latest event is the Snow Leopard Club Naming Auction and there has recently been a baby giraffe born at the zoo.

This fun family day out has been well planned and we think is certainly worth a visit.  New for 2010 is the PrimEvil at Dinosaur Adventure.  Other fun activities include the Dinosaur Trail, Arachnophobia, the Raptor Races and the adventure play area.  The secret animal garden is also popular.  You can play a role in wildlife conservation and sponsor an animal if you wish.  At the moment if you sign up for their newsletter there is a chance to win a family ticket.

Fritton Lake Retreats Reviews

Deb Park
Stayed in the Laurel 8 bed lodge with family. Absolutely perfect perfect perfect. First time in a lodge and it was fab. The owners had gone out of their way to ensure eveything you needed was there from DVDs for the children, games/books for children, dishwasher, washer/dryer, unbelievable. Are looking to book to go back in December. Very very peaceful but plenty for the children to do on site and in the surrounding areas. Well done Fritton Lake!

Wonderful Lodge set in very peaceful surroundings.
Very clean and comfortable lodge in a peaceful setting. Enjoyed a walk through the woods and even saw deer! Hot tub was a delight. Would love to return.
Went with friends and had a great time . Lodge was very comfortable and pub /restaurant on site was very good
Relaxed Holiday
Loved it, can't wait to come again
We had such a relaxing mid week break here with our 3 children during Oct half-term. The Lakeview Lodge was lovely. It was so peaceful eating breakfast on the deck overlooking the lake listening to birdsong! Excellent lodge facilities. You need a car though. It would be nice if the site could be developed so that this was a handy little shop on site selling basics. The outdoor centre was shut whilst we were there (our half term fell out of season which was good for the price but not for the facilites!). The adventure play area was amazing and quiet. We all had a good play but our 8year old boy and 11 year old girl spent hours playing hide and seek in the castle (oh go on - so did the teenager and us parents too!!) We ate at both pubs and would highly recommend although the prices at the Fritton arms we feel were high for what we got. Would book again if considering Norfolk as our destination.
Very comfortable lodge with everything you need for that breakaway.
We had a great time and will definitely be going back
