It was amazing, it's just that I am always hoping for a bargain so would like to pay a bit less but I am sure it is worth every penny it costs.

Despite poor weather for the time of year there was still plenty of places to visit in the area.
It was a very comfortable lodge and was excellent value for money.

There is nothing I could possibly think to fault about the cabin itself. It is kept incredibly tidy and has clearly been designed with comfort in mind.

We enjoyed a long weekend break in the middle lodge (Red Oak?). The lodge had clearly been fitted out to a very high standard and was spotlessly clean as well as having really comfortable beds. The grounds were lovely, we definitely came at the right time with the daffodils in full bloom. The location is a great base to visit the surroundings with easy access to Chichester, Petersfield, Portsmouth etc. The only one criticism is the signage on the main road, it was small and obscured by greenery so we drove past twice before we caught sight of it. We would definitely come back again and we have recommended to friends.

A cart of some sort for transporting luggage from car to lodge would have been a great help.
Excellent short break
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay
A beautiful peaceful place to stay will definitely return.
The ideal place for a quiet and peaceful get away. There are three lodges in the most beautiful environment. Each lodge has a kitchen with oven, hob, microwave, fridge and extractor. Pots, pan plates, glasses, cups etc all provided. Bathroom came with an excellent shower in the bath. The room was large and had storage space. The bedroom had two large wardrobes, chest of draws, a very large bed and a tv mounted on wall. The living area had a comfortable settee and a tv with Netflix available. Excellent wifi service in fact all the comforts of home.
Lovely place . Peaceful Great accommodation We are going again in March 2018
Very peaceful and relaxing just what we needed, very helpful staff, would definitely go again.
If it's peace and quiet in a beautiful setting your after, then this is the place to go. The lodge is spotless, well equipped, with an exceptionally large comfortable bed. I cannot recommend this location enough. A visit to Arundel castle is well worth the trip,I will definitely visit again.
My husband and I were delighted with this lodge. I hadn't appreciated it was part of a retreat when we booked but that didn't matter as it just meant it was really peaceful and relaxing and we had the option to join in with the many activities in the main building if we wanted to. We decided just to make the most of the surroundings and enjoy ourselves. I was amazed at how many lovely and interesting places there were to visit all around. Everything seemed to be on our doorstep there, including a large variety of good pubs and restaurants and shopping opportunities, including local small supermarkets. We can't wait to go back again.
Lovely lodge in quiet surroundings. Enjoyed our mid week break. Ideal place to explore the South coast.
A very peaceful location
