Hengar Manor sits in the heart of the glorious Cornish countryside close to the beaches and stunning coastline of North Cornwall. A proud holder of the David Bellamy Silver Award for Conservation the park is superbly situated for exploring the numerous attractions of the area such as the world famous Eden Project.
A delightful Manor House (parts of which date back to the 17th century) is at the centre of the 35 acre park and home to a family friendly café bar and pizza and pasta restaurant – a perfect place to relax at any time of day. Fantastic facilities ensure there's something to suit everyone – from swimming and children's clubs to sports and entertainment. for the ultimate in relaxation spoil yourself with a sauna, holistic massage treatment or work out in the new mini gym.
You will find a wide range of accommodation here from charming villas to traditional caravans. For value for money we like the Hengar Caravan which sleeps 8 and provides a comfortable base for your stay. Hengar Villa and Hengar Park Villa are both double glazed and are a cosy choice all year round. If you are travelling in a big group then Hengar Park Lodge Plus is ideal. This detached lodge is laid out over 2 floors and sleeps 8-10 with 4 bedrooms. The real bonus of this lodge is the superb 6 person outdoor hot tub. If you would like to stay in a cottage then Merrymeet Cottage and Well Cottage are both good options.

The F1 racing karts are also very popular. Younger kids will like the kiddy karts and the trampolines. Located in the Newquay area this attraction is easily accessible from the M5. You can purchase Bulk Tokens for rides on their website to save money and download a golden ticket.
This attraction is really unique in that you have the opportunity to gain a rare insight into a working sanctuary. You can see first hand all of the fantastic work carried out as well as seeing the monkeys themselves. Other popular areas of this attraction include the Bat Cave and Wildlife Room. the Wildlife Gardens and the kids play area. There is something for everyone at The Monkey Sanctuary and you can also sponsor and donate if you wish. The cost to adopt a monkey is from just £2 a month.
Holywell Bay Fun Park has been one of South Cornwall's most popular attractions for many years and features a good range of rides for children of all ages. As well as fairground rides and Go- Karts there are plenty of places for family fun including the Maze, Bumper Boats and Lazar Shooting area. If the weather is not great visitors can simply head inside as there are plenty of indoor activities including a large Soft Play Area and a thrilling Climbing Wall. With no entrance fee this park is a good budget friendly option too.
Paradise Park first opened its doors in Cornwall in 1973 and has been one of the regions top attractions ever since. What was once just a tropical bird garden is now a refuge for many different species of animal and aims to be educational as well as fun for its visitors. The inhabitants include some typical UK creatures including Otters, and Red Squirrels as well as some more unusual and rare animals including Red Pandas. Younger children will enjoy meeting the friendly animals in the farm area. The site has recently been extended and now also has a fantastic Jungle Barn where kids can let of steam.
A fantastic attraction with something for everyone. Combining rides, activities and exhibitions it's all here in the one place. Look out for seasonal events too such as the Fire in the Sky event on 27th October 2010 - discount advance tickets are available for most of the events so don't forget to check out their website. Some of the most popular thrill rides include the first Twisting Droptower in the UK called the Skyraker 001. The Hornert Rollercoaster is also not to be missed.
Open from end March to end October this is a lovely attraction suited to families with kids of all ages. You don't need to worry about the weather either as this is an all weather attraction with the addition of soft play areas and a ball pool for the little ones. Some of the highlights include the Bull Pen indoor play area, the Raging Bulls Ride, Pat-aPet and the Mini tractors. Of course there is also the opportunity to get up close to the farm animals and try some bottle feeding.
The Eden Project is a fantastic local attraction in Cornwall which will appeal to families and couples. From the moment you step through the entrance it's clear that this is no ordinary attraction. All under one roof you will find a giant rainforest, Horticulture courses, rock climbing, ice skating and an arts cafe. Not all of these activities are on at one time, they are staggered throughout the year so check out the website to see what's available when you plan to visit. Autumn at Eden is very popular with events such as daily apple pressing and Time Changing Tales (story telling with an autumn theme).

A lovely few days spent in a lovely area
Waterside cabin was really nice good location with views of Lake and hot tub was amazing , near to beaches and local villages definitely need a car though to explore, the only downside was price of food in on site pub/restaurant a bit pricey for families

Change of experience in term of spending hols such as Christmas away from home
We had a lovely week at Christmas, my Grand-daughter said it was the Best Christmas ever.
Yet another fantastic Christmas holiday here staff are delightful always go above and beyond to help beautiful location only thing missing indoor play area
Best place we have been too, we couldn't find any fault with anything the staff very helpful, ideal spot for walking and very central for going off for the day,
We stayed over the Christmas period 2017, and have already booked for Christmas 2018. We had 1 small issue with the hot tub while we were there, I rang reception, and somebody was there to deal with it within 10 minutes.
Hengar Manor Country Park is very quiet and friendly and has everything most people need for a holiday.
It's just North of Bodmin in Cornwall and very close to all the major sightseeing places in Cornwall. Plymouth is 1 hour drive to the East and Penzance and Lands End is 1 hour drive to the West. Eden Project is a 10 minute drive.
Great place helpful staff, But not a lot of entertainment (But it was November) there was entertainment Saturday evening
Brilliant place only issue I had hot tub was not warm so couldnâ€™t use it the first night this was disappointing as we only stayed for 2 nights! But lovely place my lodge was very clean spacious and warm
