Hunters Moon Reviews

Aimee Russel
We had a lovely week here with our 2 children in July and the location is really excellent. We were able to have some great days out including our favorite to Longleat safari park. The lodges were not luxurious as such but were spacious and homely with everything we needed and the views over the lake were beautiful.

Lovely lodge well equipped in good surroundinhs
Lovey location and very warm welcome upon arrival. Good instructions to enable the holiday lodges to be found relatively easily. Our 1-bedroom lodge was cosy and compact, if a little cramped. However, our only real complaint is the fact that, due to extremely cold weather, the lodge was freezing cold and took many hours to warm up, once the meter had been fed with £1 coins. Having said that, it was very economical to heat and we spent only around £10 to heat the place for our three-night stay. May we suggest that in such extreme weather conditions the place is pre-heated before guests' arrival? We would have been happy to pay a few pounds extra to cover this cost.
Had a brilliant time, he lodge was lovely, clean, well equipped, surprisingly warm. Our visit was in November and we had small children we did expect it to be a little nippy but we was lovely and warm.
Lovely peaceful site with lovely helpful staff. We're already booked in again for next year!
