Kilminorth Cottages have a tranquil location deep within a beautiful wooded valley in the spectacular Cornish countryside. The small cluster of holiday cottages have an exclusive feel with their secluded setting amongst beautifully landscaped lawns and gardens. The location could hardly be better with the famous smuggling villages of Looe and Polperro just a short drive away.
Facilities here are low key and include tennis courts, a launderette and WI-FI. Close by guests can explore Kilminorth Woods, visit picturesque harbours, relax on some of the UK's best sandy beaches and even try shark fishing. Boating and riding are all available locally and the popular attractions of The Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan are within reach.
All of the cottages were refurbished in 2011 and offer spacious and contemporary accommodation. Above The Town Cottages are ultra modern with a spacious open plan kitchen and living area on the ground floor and three doubles bedrooms upstairs. Hayloft cottages are similar but have two double and one single bedroom, sleeping 5. Warren Cottages sleep 4 and have one double bedroom and two twin. All of these luxurious cottages feature flat screen TVs with Freeview, fitted kitchens with microwave and central heating to make them cosy all year round.

Fun Days Out in South Cornwall
The award winning Newquay Zoo makes a fun family day out in North Cornwall. With over 130 different species of animals to see and plenty of fun activities for the kids this attraction is ideal. Recent additions to the zoo include the African Savanna and the Madagascan Walkthrough exhibit. Kids will love the play area, face painting, tarzan trail and animal encounters. Different events tale place throughout the year such as the Halloween Zoo Boo family fun event on 31st October.
This fun park makes a really energetic day out with rides, pitch and putt and a kids zone. Some of the highlights include the Thunder Racing Track and the Blaster Boats. The F1 racing karts are also very popular. Younger kids will like the kiddy karts and the trampolines. Located in the Newquay area this attraction is easily accessible from the M5. You can purchase Bulk Tokens for rides on their website to save money and download a golden ticket.
This attraction is really unique in that you have the opportunity to gain a rare insight into a working sanctuary. You can see first hand all of the fantastic work carried out as well as seeing the monkeys themselves. Other popular areas of this attraction include the Bat Cave and Wildlife Room. the Wildlife Gardens and the kids play area. There is something for everyone at The Monkey Sanctuary and you can also sponsor and donate if you wish. The cost to adopt a monkey is from just £2 a month.
Holywell Bay Fun Park has been one of South Cornwall's most popular attractions for many years and features a good range of rides for children of all ages. As well as fairground rides and Go- Karts there are plenty of places for family fun including the Maze, Bumper Boats and Lazar Shooting area. If the weather is not great visitors can simply head inside as there are plenty of indoor activities including a large Soft Play Area and a thrilling Climbing Wall. With no entrance fee this park is a good budget friendly option too.
Paradise Park first opened its doors in Cornwall in 1973 and has been one of the regions top attractions ever since. What was once just a tropical bird garden is now a refuge for many different species of animal and aims to be educational as well as fun for its visitors. The inhabitants include some typical UK creatures including Otters, and Red Squirrels as well as some more unusual and rare animals including Red Pandas. Younger children will enjoy meeting the friendly animals in the farm area. The site has recently been extended and now also has a fantastic Jungle Barn where kids can let of steam.
A fantastic attraction with something for everyone. Combining rides, activities and exhibitions it's all here in the one place. Look out for seasonal events too such as the Fire in the Sky event on 27th October 2010 - discount advance tickets are available for most of the events so don't forget to check out their website. Some of the most popular thrill rides include the first Twisting Droptower in the UK called the Skyraker 001. The Hornert Rollercoaster is also not to be missed.
Open from end March to end October this is a lovely attraction suited to families with kids of all ages. You don't need to worry about the weather either as this is an all weather attraction with the addition of soft play areas and a ball pool for the little ones. Some of the highlights include the Bull Pen indoor play area, the Raging Bulls Ride, Pat-aPet and the Mini tractors. Of course there is also the opportunity to get up close to the farm animals and try some bottle feeding.
The Eden Project is a fantastic local attraction in Cornwall which will appeal to families and couples. From the moment you step through the entrance it's clear that this is no ordinary attraction.
