Fun Days Out in Inverness-Shire

Landmark Theme Park is a popular family attraction in Scotland and is a great choice for those with children of varied ages. The site is packed with attractions to keep the whole family amused. Landmark is rather unique as a theme park as it is based around nature. Activities include Tree Topping and Rock climbing although there are also some more traditional theme park rides such as a log flume. The park is abundant with nature including Red Squirrels and Clydesdale Horses and there is also a new Pinewood Grill for tasty snacks and a Gift Shop.

The amazing Loudoun Castle Theme Park is the largest in Scotland taking up a staggering 500 acres of glorious countryside. The park is suitable for visitors of all ages and has an excellent choice of rides including thrilling Rollercoasters. The site also hosts some fantastic family shows including the popular 'Walk the Plank' High Dive Show.  This place is much more than a theme park though, and younger children in particular will love the Dougal McDougal's farm area where the inhabitants include friendly goats, pigs and llamas as well as rabbits and other small pets.

Only a small note for the cleanliness as there was the smell of dogs on the cushions on the sofa. There is a note asking for pets to be kept off the furniture, so it's more a pointer at guests not respecting house rules.

Absolutely wonderful short break, would highly recommend. Only nit pick would be that the lodge could really do with having a frying pan but apart from that, all great!

Overall we had a great time at Kiltarlity, and will be back. The only downside was a severe shortage of taxi operators, allowing a trip to town for a meal and drinks.

Lovely place staff really friendly, lodge was clean and equipped well..
Excellent stay, everything was fantastic. Lodge is kitted out with everything you require to have a relaxing stay. Hot-tub is excellent and very rarely drops in water temperature, unlike some others we have stayed in. Location is great for exploring the surrounding area and very quiet if wanting to just relax in the lodge.
Brilliant Christmas break, lodge was clean, warm and had everything we needed to make our first visit to Scotland so special. We will be back again. Missing hot tub already
Couldn’t fault this site .. the hot tub is one of the best we’ve used the facilities were fab staff very helpful & friendly x the lodges are not luxury but are kept spotless with a well stocked kitchen we dropped on a good deal as our October half term fell 2 week after the local schools we would love to come back again 😁
Brillant, clean spacious, lots of fun in hot tub. My autistic son enjoys these kinds of holidays.
Lovely lodges, with everything you need for your stay. The hot tubs are amazing, relaxing for an waning dip.
Absolutely amazing clean refreshing amenities plenty comfortable warm secluded but welcoming
Just what we were looking for somewhere to chill and relax. Accommodation clean and well equipped and staff very helpful if anything required.
My fifth trip to the lodges and I have seen many changes since my first trip in 1995. The chalets are much better, the facilities are great and all that’s missing is an onsite restaurant/bar.
Quiet peacefully warm cosy clean. Lovely lodged and the Jacuzzi was amazing. Very relaxing holiday.
Lovely little cabins, very cosy and perfect location. Hot tub is a great addition!
