Glencoe, Fort William, Inverary and the Mull of Kintyre are all within easy reach and make great days out while taking in the breathtaking scenery. For those looking for an energetic day out there are various opportunities for climbing golf and pony trekking if you're looking for a more relaxing break there are numerous walks river and sea fishing.

The caravans at the park offer a comfortable retreat after a busy day. The Loch Awe Caravan sleeps 6 and is a spacious 12ft wide home with one double and two twin bedrooms. Fun Days Out in Argyllshire & Islands

Landmark Theme Park is a popular family attraction in Scotland and is a great choice for those with children of varied ages. The site is packed with attractions to keep the whole family amused. Landmark is rather unique as a theme park as it is based around nature. Activities include Tree Topping and Rock climbing although there are also some more traditional theme park rides such as a log flume. The park is abundant with nature including Red Squirrels and Clydesdale Horses and there is also a new Pinewood Grill for tasty snacks and a Gift Shop.

The amazing Loudoun Castle Theme Park is the largest in Scotland taking up a staggering 500 acres of glorious countryside. The park is suitable for visitors of all ages and has an excellent choice of rides including thrilling Rollercoasters. The site also hosts some fantastic family shows including the popular 'Walk the Plank' High Dive Show.  This place is much more than a theme park though, and younger children in particular will love the Dougal McDougal's farm area where the inhabitants include friendly goats, pigs and llamas as well as rabbits and other small pets.

Loch Awe Holiday Park Reviews

I booked a premier van to ensure we got a newish van with central heating so were warm with it being October. The van was lovely and very comfortable although we were disappointed to find very bad stains on the upholstery in the main living area and both toilet seats were very loose. I have reflected that in my feedback otherwise I would have rated 10. That being said the rest of the van was exceptionally clean and not a disappointment.
I did mention to the staff and they assured me that they were aware of the stains and this would addressed in the near future and they would fix the toilet seats. The member of staff was very polite and even allowed us a late check out given that they had no booking for that day. Great service! One small thing was the location of the van as it looked out onto the back of the house again this was disappointing as this site has a nice outlook but again I was advised that this will be addressed shortly when they move the premier vans.
I wouldnt let these things put me off returning!

Shame we had to pay for the Internet most places provide it. Also £5 a day for electric was excessive.

Family of 4 with two teenagers. This is a great location to use as a base to explore the highlands. The caravan was the perfect size 4 berth and very clean. The park has a pool table and table tennis so well suited for teenagers. Great restaurant next door 10 mins walk and there is fishing a couple of miles up the road. The couple who run the park are very helpful and sorted a mechanical problem with the shower very quickly. Highly recommend this park.
David
Wonderful staff, stop at nothing to help.
Stacey

Tracy
Excellent park for a peaceful holiday. Location perfect for travelling to Oban for ferry crossings to the islands. Staff lovely and helpful.
