Overall me and my boyfriend really enjoyed our weekend, the L shaped sofa was really comfortable and the HDMI port on the TV meant we could access things like Netflix and Spotify through our Amazon Fire-stick. Didn't engage with staff so can't comment on them; however when we did first arrive my boyfriend was told that the keys were already in the door waiting which seemed a bit odd to me as no ID was needed to prove you were the people who booked it. The hot tub was really nice; however if you press certain buttons like the temp and the lights one after the other it changes the whole hot tub setting and meant the temperature plummeted as it went into economy mode. This then resulted in my boyfriend having to google the manual for the hot tub to get it back to normal so instructions should definitely have been included in the welcome pack. Some have said this lodge is well equipped however we would have to disagree, there are no pots that can go in the oven like a pyrex dish nor was there anything to wash up with, fairy liquid was provided but no sponge or brush!! This would have been fine if we were told in advance to bring one however we were not, bin bags were in the kitchen bin and the bathroom bin however spares were not provided so once you've filled them up thats it. Flannels could have been useful however only found ourselves looking for one to replace the lack of dish sponges. Absolute middle of nowhere though, so if you are looking for a relaxing break where you don't want to venture out much then this will be great however Cambridge is an hours drive and Peterborough is 40 minutes.

Stayed in the Wistow lodge, was a beautiful lodge, very spacious with lovely surroundings.
Large living and kitchen area. Modern bathroom. Hot tub outside, could've done with a little more privacy from the lodge next door but wasn't a major issue. Would definitely return
Sharon
lovely and peaceful

The lodge was lovely in lovely location. The weather was -9 and snow so we only got use of the hot tub once. The only thing wish the hot tub was more enclosed just needed to be fenced in not that it put us off going in.
Lee
Great place for a romantic getaway

Great place to chill, staff couldn't be nicer and would like to go back in the summer. Lodge was very clean with lots of space and very warm in the winter weather we had.

We had a wonderful time staying in the Wistow lodge. Clean, tidy & everything you need. Bed was very comfy, staff friendly & approachable & the hot tub was just fabulous!! Surroundings lovely, very peaceful & a good brekkie in the club house! Only slight downfall was the lack of privacy from the other two lodges when you were in the hot tub. Other than that 10/10 :-)
Nice clean place nice food
Hannah

Fantastic holiday all round! We stayed in 1 of 7 log cabins which are located around 50 metres from the golf clubhouse. 4 of the cabins have hot-tubs, but the 3 in the middle row didn't - not that it really bothered us. One one side of the cabins is the driving range, on the other is a lake that is used for fishing - beyond that is the golf course itself. All the cabins are the same in outward appearance, but individually furnished inside. Ours consisted on a living / kitchen / diner with a double bedroom, twin bedroom and superb bathroom. All the furnishings were of great condition, bedding was of a high standard and TV with DVD in the lounge. Missing 1 or 2 things in the kitchen that would make cooking meals a bit easier, but generally most of the things were there with regards to crockery, pots, kettle, microwave etc. The location is ideal - less than 5 minutes from the small town of Ramsay with a local Tesco if needed. Further afield and within easy travel were Peterborough, St Ives & Cambridge. Meals in the clubhouse are good - we had lunches and breakfasts when we were there - and the price of beer/wine etc isn't too bad either. All in, a great and relaxing place to spend a week bringing in the new year and would definitely return!!
