The real log lodges are beautiful with open plan living areas and modern kitchens.  All lodges come with flatscreen TV with freeview and DVD.  The powys Lodge sleeps 4 and the Dyfed Lodge sleeps 6.  Both of these style of lodges have verandahs so you can make the most of the stunning setting.

Kids will love a trip to Folly Farm just over 4 miles from Pantglas Hall Lodges.  From funfairs and animals to play areas and a country park this place in Pembrokeshire is well worth a visit.

Fun Days Out in Carmarthenshire

Treasure Island Fun Centre is situated in the Anglesey area of North of Wales and there is really no better place to take children on a rainy day. The fantastic all weather attraction features a huge array of slides, chutes, climbing frames, ball pools and mazes. Energetic kids can really let of steam while the grown ups can relax in the cafe with a drink and a snack. There are separate areas four younger children to play safely, so no one is left out of the fun.

Penrhyn Castle is a neo-Norman castle is located in the stunning Gwynedd region of Wales. The castle will appeal to those who enjoy sites of historical interest as well as to families looking to enjoy a fun day out. The Castle is in very good condition and guided tours are on offer. Don't miss a look at the grand hall with its exquisite collection of paintings or the Victorian Kitchen which gives amazing insight into the running of the Castle. Other highlights include the Servants Rooms and the one ton slate bed which was originally made for Queen Victoria.

This attraction is really something special and has reached the finals of the "Best Family Day Out" category in the National Tourism Awards for Wales.  It's actually the only attraction in North Wales to be shortlisted for this prestigious award. Located in the Snowdonia region there are many rides and activities including Jungle Boat Adventure, Den Building, Green Dragon Roller Caoster, Treetop Towers and the BareFoot Trail.  Kids of all ages will love it here and we think it's excellent value as well.

Located in the North of Wales with a spectacular setting high above Colwyn Bay this is a lovely zoo which makes an excellent family day out.  Highlights include the Chimp Encounter, Penguin Parades, Bear Falls and the Children's Farm.  The setting is perfect for walking around and you can take in the superb scenery, roam the wooded pathways and relax on the grassy slopes.  There are many rare and endangered species to see and learn about including the Snow Leopards and the Red Pandas not to mention the Sumatran Tigers. You can also buy the experience of being a zoo keeper for a day, either for yourself or as a gift.

Dyfed 8 is are preferred choice in the lodges and we manage to have it again. It really is home from home.
The duty manager (Louise) checked all was well and run through the operation of a new microwave and the dishwasher that we had not used before.

Meryl did the welcome talk on Sunday, good detail and very amusing.
Again, small maintenance job carried out (on Sunday ) with no fuss and these issues always handled quickly and followed through by the staff.

DYFED 8.
New furniture installed for this visit(December 2016) and small repairs we mentioned on our last visit in September.

This time of year really relaxing on site although time spent Christmas shopping in Carmarthen.

Love the mists in the mornings and feeling of isolation they bring.

The wood burning fire adds to the atmosphere.

A really friendly beautiful place to stay and relax. The food in the cafe and restaurant were the best in town and the staff can't do enough fir you. A really fantastic place. Highly recommend place to stay.
Wendy
It was a peaceful and relaxing site. The lodge was superbly presented with lots of extras that were unexpected. The 'quirky' nature of the park with the tower and history of the site added to the charm
Jonathan
Lodge was very comfortable and clean, staff were very helpful, location is a bit remote so needed to drive every day, very peaceful resort
MARTIN
Another great holiday during Bank Holiday week. Weather forecast was not too good but it was fine with sunshine most days. Fine display of native Bluebells in the wooded area above the Mews building and we counted 14 different varieties of native wild flowers in the gardens above the lakes- also followed by three ducks during the walks. Good company for the Tuesday Quiz but we don't get better!
Nick
This is a fabulous little find - a real jewel tucked away. Even out of season it had all that we needed for a quiet restful holiday - a great therapy
Kevin
An idyll place to recharge your batteries, remember this is countryside so you have to travel to get groceries. Aldi, Lidl and Tescos can be found in Carmarthen a 20 minute drive
MARTIN
Fourth visit this year, covering all the seasons. Pantglas Hall has from the first became a firm favourite because of the friendly staff, quality of the lodges and location. I should also mention the time share members and other visitors who share their knowledge of the local area to enhance the visit and really want you to enjoy 'their Pantglas'.
Emma
