The lodge is in a lovely spot, with great views. Beautiful log burner.Unable to use the hot tub for 25% of our stay due to it not being warm enough and the lodges need a deep clean, they are dirty.

We are returning customers for this lodge (3rd time), so fond of this site. However, since our last visit, this accommodation has become tired and no longer a luxury lodge. Also, we would like to make a few suggestions -* update the wifi information in the welcome book.* make it possible to provide logs before arriving (not having to wait until the second night of a weekend break).* it was wet and icy when we arrived - a handrail would be helpful on the steps to the front door.

Some areas showing small signs of wear, eg the hot tub, but this is expected as it isn't brand new.

Me and my family had a fantastic stay here. amazing views and lovely quiet site, the Perfect get away! Loved the hot tub and spacious lodge, has everything you need.
Only thing I would say is that the site is hard to find, could do with a bigger sign and some lighting as we drove past so many times trying to find it.

We booked to stay here last minute,in January, and have already booked to go again,
If you want a nice modern comfortable lodge, with Hot tub, heating, wood burner, peace and quiet and unspoilt views of the Devonshire countryside, them this is it,5 mins drive to Dawlish Warren. If your looking for a noisey kids club, exspensive bar and bingo, this isn't for you.

The lodge was lovely and clean, as were the towels and bedding, and it was very well equipped. It's a clever layout making use of every bit of space.

Like I said before couldn't fault anything about the holiday even the weather was kind to us.

Date of stay: 20th February 2015
I was really pleased with the accommodation; it was spotlessly clean and very well equipped - the kitchen included a colander, vegetable peeler and tin opener!

The central heating system was also fantastic, I was worried we would be cold going away in February, but every radiator worked brilliantly, and there was extra bedding provided too.

The beds were the most comfortable I have slept on in this kind of accommodation, and was just like being at home.

At night when all the lights were off it really was pitch black, which is great for stargazing, but we had to leave the kitchen light on during the night so that our little one could find us if he woke.

My family and I enjoyed our time at Langstone, but when we visit Portmile again I will be booking accommodation with wifi as the mobile phone signal (vodafone) was appalling and I will also be taking plug in nightlights for the children.

The peace and tranquility there is wonderful, and you can hardly hear the road nearby. The views are also lovely. Well worth visiting.
