If you're looking for a relaxing holiday with some luxurious touches and a great location then Ribblesdale Lodges are a great choice. This small and exclusive cluster of luxurious, traditional style lodges are set in the stunning grounds of Gisburn Estate. The lodges have a fantastic location right in the heart of the Ribble Valley which is today famous for being the inspiration for Tolkien's Lord of the Rings books. This is an area of outstanding natural beauty and a haven for wildlife.

All of the lodges here have been designed to offer a fantastic holiday experience with many luxurious touches. The interior of the lodges manage to fuse seamlessly contemporary design with a homely feel. The lodges benefit from outdoor decking with private hot tubs and pampering can be complete by a massage from the onsite therapist.

The lodges are a fantastic place to escape and de-stress but with such stunning surroundings they are also a great place to enjoy outdoor activities such as cycling and walking. Pendle Hill is popular with walking enthusiasts and is easy to reach from the lodges.

If you can drag yourself away from the comfort of your lodge then the pretty market village of Gisburn is well worth a visit and has a fantastic award winning Italian restaurant, a lovely village pub and many shops selling some great local produce. The Yorkshire Dales and the famous Lake District national park are also within easy driving distance and are great places to visit.

Ribblesdale Lodges Reviews

Vicky Thomson
This site felt very friendly due to the small size and we could let the kids play out without having to watch them all the time. The lodge was really nice and the hot tub was just the icing on the cake. Highly recommended.

Lovely lodge but no welcome pack, robe and slippers which we always get in Autograph Lodges. No lever on hot tub cover and a struggle to lift , especially if older.

This is My second visit and review for Ribblesdale Park. The lodge it self was modern and clean with a hot tub at the side in an enclosed grassed area. The Park is small and we found it very peaceful even for a weekend visit, it seemed mainly couples. My only disappointment was the hot tub wasn't on the decking looking out at the view......which was uninterrupted view of the hills very beautiful. The interior of the lodge was comfortable, I thought the bed very comfy but my partner said it was too soft for him. The ensuite was great with a double size shower, but be warned use the rubber mat provided as very slippy. The kitchen could have done with more work space as this is a 6 person lodge and there wasn't a lot of space to serve food and prep......unless you eat out when away, no storage space for food too. There is no electric kettle but gas kettle that whistled, very novel. I wouldn't hesitate returning here again in the future, found the staff friendly and check in quick and efficient. The area is beautiful, we visited Skipton a lovely historic town and we drove to the centre of the uk....great time had by all. Hope to see you all again soon.... thank you.
June
Third time at these lodges the Chatterley Lodge had everything you needed for a relaxing break. One or two of the older lodges need a little t l c but that apart we once again enjoyed our holiday. Just to add we woke up one morning with two stags outside our lodge door amazing.
Jason
lodge was excellent
Chris
There aren’t extensive facilities and that’s a plus. Cafe is great, staff all helpful and lodge was great. Only feedback would be that it wasn’t as spotless as before so a good scrub would restore to former glory. We’ll return
