River Edge offers you all the benefits of a family owned and run park combined with a wonderful setting beside tranquil River Earn. Moncreiffe Hill just behind affords spectacular views over Perth and Strathearn. Children will enjoy the goats hens and their own safe play area and there's free trout fishing in the Earn. Golf cycling and watersports all nearby. There are pubs restaurants coffee shop and takeaways available locally.
Accommodation at River Edge Lodges is in stylish timber lodges. Moncreiffe Lodges are two storey A frame lodges with two bedrooms and additional sleeping space in the living area. Bridge of Earn Lodges are great for larger groups and are very spacious with three bedrooms as well as additional sleeping space in the lounge. All of the lodges are equipped with TV and DVD players and also have furnished patios.

Penrhyn Castle is a neo-Norman castle is located in the stunning Gwynedd region of Wales. The castle will appeal to those who enjoy sites of historical interest as well as to families looking to enjoy a fun day out. The Castle is in very good condition and guided tours are on offer. Don't miss a look at the grand hall with its exquisite collection of paintings or the Victorian Kitchen which gives amazing insight into the running of the Castle. Other highlights include the Servants Rooms and the one ton slate bed which was originally made for Queen Victoria.
This attraction is really something special and has reached the finals of the "Best Family Day Out" category in the National Tourism Awards for Wales. It's actually the only attraction in North Wales to be shortlisted for this prestigious award. Located in the Snowdonia region there are many rides and activities including Jungle Boat Adventure, Den Building, Green Dragon Roller Caoster, Treetop Towers and the BareFoot Trail. Kids of all ages will love it here and we think it's excellent value as well.
Located in the North of Wales with a spectacular setting high above Colwyn Bay this is a lovely zoo which makes an excellent family day out. Highlights include the Chimp Encounter, Penguin Parades, Bear Falls and the Children's Farm. The setting is perfect for walking around and you can take in the superb scenery, roam the wooded pathways and relax on the grassy slopes. There are many rare and endangered species to see and learn about including the Snow Leopards and the Red Pandas not to mention the Sumatran Tigers. You can also buy the experience of being a zoo keeper for a day, either for yourself or as a gift.
We stayed here for 4 days,hopefully will be able to stay longer next time,very warm and genuine welcome from the hosts.

A well equipped and well presented lodge
An excellent site with easy access to Perth, don't be put offf by the access road . Close by is a small supermarket and also a bakery.Not too far to Edinburgh either.

Went here 2 weeks ago had 2 lodges and how lovely they were .had everything you needed very comfy home from home very clean .staff were very helpful definitely stay here again .I must apologise to the owners for leaving the black bags outside but we couldn't find the bins to put them in as we were leaving during the night .
Location is great - central - for visiting many different places. Lodge was well equipped and staff very helpful. Nothing to fault. One area for improvement, the wifi service.
Super location with all necessary facilities at hand,all lodges occupied and our grandchildren mixed in with the other visiting children,there was a friendly atmosphere around the place.
We will be returning ,when possible
