Fun Days Out in Wigtownshire

Landmark Theme Park is a popular family attraction in Scotland and is a great choice for those with children of varied ages. The site is packed with attractions to keep the whole family amused. Landmark is rather unique as a theme park as it is based around nature. Activities include Tree Topping and Rock climbing although there are also some more traditional theme park rides such as a log flume. The park is abundant with nature including Red Squirrels and Clydesdale Horses and there is also a new Pinewood Grill for tasty snacks and a Gift Shop.

The amazing Loudoun Castle Theme Park is the largest in Scotland taking up a staggering 500 acres of glorious countryside. The park is suitable for visitors of all ages and has an excellent choice of rides including thrilling Rollercoasters. The site also hosts some fantastic family shows including the popular 'Walk the Plank' High Dive Show.  This place is much more than a theme park though, and younger children in particular will love the Dougal McDougal's farm area where the inhabitants include friendly goats, pigs and llamas as well as rabbits and other small pets.

The log cabin was brilliant, there were a few minor things like a couple of the lights didn't work but apart from that everything was perfect.

We had a great holiday here and would definitely be back. It was good for a quiet and relaxing holiday which was exactly what we were looking for. Shout out to the park warden Adrian- he was a lovely man who kept an eye on us making sure our hot tub was topped up every morning and was always available to give us advice about the local area and offer any assistance.

The lodge was really good plus the hot tub! the only issue we had was the "wifi" which was advertised did not work at any time we were there. This wasn't a big issue for us but would be a deal breaker for some. You can connect but that is all.
Our group stayed in a Highland 3 Spa Lodge for 3 nights at the start of November. The lodge was very clean and modern and was everything we were looking for. We especially liked the hot tub which the 5 of us could fit easily in.
Whitecairn is a lovely holiday park to stay in. Our log cabin was brilliant and extremely clean! The value for money was excellent, our only problem was having to drive everywhere if we wanted anything as the site was closed. Apart from that problem our stay was brilliant.
Been here before, so we knew we were going te a great place.
Stayed here before and wasn't disappointed then either. Would recommend to anyone, but not too many, as they may prevent me securing a booking in the future
Great location, lovely caravan and site, pleasant and very helpful staff Thank you x
It was exactly what I wished for
Had such an amazing weekend here. All the rooms were of a great standard. Bed was really comfortable. Hot tub was fab perfect size. Really was a great location and will definitely be coming back again
We had a three night stay and can't recommend the park enough. Lodge was great and we will be back x
