We’ve been checking out a range of lodges with hot tubs in the North Wales area and have set out below some of our favourites places to stay.
Talacre Beach
Talacre Beach is really good for families with plenty of fun and activities on the doorstep. It’s located next to golden sand dunes and beaches making it perfect for families with young children.
There are lots of days out close to the park including spectacular castles, golf courses and the amazing Snowdonia National Park. On site there is The Bistro at Talacre Beach Bar and Restaurant and a tropically heated indoor pool making the perfect holiday in all weathers.
Other facilities include basketball, archery, outdoor children’s play area, takeaway fish and chips shop and the North Star Cabaret Room.
There are lots of different lodges to stay in with one, two and three-bedrooms.
We love the Hawthorn 3 Premier with three bedrooms. This lodge is spacious and luxurious. It has three bedrooms and sleeps 6-8 people. The open plan design perfect for families. One of the best things about this lodge is the outdoor hot tub. Relax in your hot tub after a fun day out at the park. If you need a larger lodge then check out the Fir Tree 4 Premier. This lodge has 4 bedrooms and sleeps 8.
Herons Lake Retreat
Herons Lake Retreat has a countryside location. All of the stylish lodges have their own outdoor hot tub. It’s an ideal place to stay to 
explore North Wales. This fantastic area has so much to offer.
All of the lodges are double glazed and central heating making them perfect for breaks all year round! We like the Heron Lakeside Lodge for romantic breaks. This lodge sleeps 2 and has an open plan design with outdoor hot tub and views of the lake.
Ogwen Bank Country Park
Set within 12 acres of natural woodland this is a perfect retreat for families and couples. The river Ogwen runs through the grounds with pools and waterfalls. Just a mile from the park you will find the Welsh Slate Village of Bethesda. On the park itself you will find a children’s play area, pool table and a cafe and restaurant as well as a Country Club. Family entertainment is available at certain times of the year.
Choose from a range of lodges including the Ogwen Lodge Plus which sleeps 6 and comes with outdoor hot tub. We also love the S-POD VIP which is a modern and cosy pod sleeping 2.
