This friendly holiday park is close to the market town of Kirkham and not far from Blackpool and Lytham St Annes.
It’s set in over 100 acres of landscaped grounds and has superb facilities – a nine hole golf course, table tennis, squash, horse riding and bowling, plus a licensed village store, pizzeria and takeaway.
It doesn’t matter what the weather’s doing, because Ribby Hall Village has an indoor and an outdoor heated swimming pool with chutes, water features, hot tub and steam room. There’s also a day spa and gym with fitness and aerobic classes, not to mention a crèche for the under 6s and a holiday club for the older children.
Ribby Ruby is a delightful two storey mews cottage that sleeps up to six people. It has a master double and two twin bedrooms, and is well equipped for a family with a dishwasher and a washer/dryer. All the cottages have TVs with Freeview channels and patios with garden furniture.
There are some great places to visit while you’re in Lancashire – you could take a cruise and enjoy the scenery at Fairhaven Lake and of course, the Pleasure Beach and Sandcastle Waterpark in Blackpool are always big hits with the kids. If you love wildlife, you could head for Bowland Wild Boar Park in Preston.
