Amazingly private, beautiful inside and out and brilliantly clean! We spent 2 nights in Penny Lodge at Durham Coastal Lodges and every aspect is wonderful. The views out into the country side, the secluded corner to yourself with private hot tub were the highlights. Comfy beds with nice bedding and the towels were fluffy. Everything you could ever need in the kitchen.

We stayed in Penny Lodge at Costal lodges. The site was very clean and pretty, there is a great unique play area for the kids. The Lodge is clean and decorated beautifully, the attention to detail by the hosts is spectacular. The covered hot tub is private and well sheltered and can be used in any weather. I would definitely recommend and would like to return in the future.
