Great location and base for easy access by car to York, Harrogate, Knaresborough and Ripon. Quiet site with great caravans. No on site facilities e.g. Children's play area, shop, cafe etc. There is a shower block for touring caravans but I did not use this.

Very well equipped, even a dish washer and full height fridge freezer in the kitchen. Bedroom layout was; double with en-suite, twin beds, single room and bed settee in living room, the other settee is long enough to sleep on. Table with seating for 6 in dining area. Free view tv with plenty of channels. You do need your own towels, as not provided.

**Please Note - we don't have any mobility issues - we simply stayed in this caravan as it was the only one available**We couldn't have asked for a warmer welcome and the caravan itself was perfect. We preferred it to a non-wheelchair friendly caravan - as the extra room to move and the wet room are awesome. It was IMMACULATELY clean; which (let's be honest), is never the case with static caravan parks. This is a first for us.Check-in isn't until 4 pm - but the day before I got a call from Mike (hope I have his name right?) saying, your caravan will be ready from 12 pm, if you'd like to arrive earlier? Simply come when you're ready. What a lovely touchWe'll definitely be back - great location too - ideal for Knaresborough, York and Harrogate days out, with an escape to the country after a busy day exploring. 10/10 ????

The wheelchair accessible caravan was a little dated. We paid the same money for another caravan for our party and the other one was significantly better equipped, with more modern furnishings. The caravan was still comfortable and clean however I cannot fault that.

Fantastic new and clean caravan. Very quiet. Only issue was we thought it was a woodland location but was off a lane with trees bordering and in the small site, unfortunately there wasnt a wood to walk into. However, everything else was superb and being near the A1 most places were accessible.

The setting is idealic, surrounded by greenery, birds all around perfect place to unwind and forget about the world. The living area of the caravan was very spacious with a well kitted out kitchen. The main bedroom was spacious enough and had an en-suite bathroom. Our caravan had a deck which was great to sit out on and chill. The staff were super friendly and helpful and the site itself was immaculate. That's all the positives now for the negatives.Every caravan we've stayed on before has had an iron and ironing board so we were a bit surprised to find that the caravan didn't have one. We asked at reception if there was one we could borrow to be told that there should be one in the caravan already. This was quickly resolved and an iron and ironing board brought to the caravan for us.The welcome folder has a note asking visitors to please take their shoes off before entering the caravan to help ensure the carpets aren't ruined and to notify staff of any marks as quickly as possible to ensure it can be cleaned. There is a small section of linoleum when u enter but it was still a bit inconvenient. I have 2 teenage boys prone to spilling (yes even at this age) so we were a bit put out when all we found to clean up was a small brush with no handle and pan meaning you had to go down on your knees to sweep! Again I went to reception to ask if I could borrow a long handled brush as I was definately not going down on the floor. I was told that we should have had a vacuum in the caravan. Again this was speedily resolved and a vacuum delivered to us. The cleanliness in the caravan when we arrived was not what I would have expected. I had to clean the master bathroom as there was orange mould in the bottom of the shower and whoever had cleaned the floor thought the room was round. The vents were thick with dust. This was highlighted to staff who told us it would be cleaned however this didn't happen during our visit. While the campsite is lovely it is looking a bit tired and in need of some tlc.Even with the negative aspects of our stay I'd go back the staff did everything they could to rectify any issues (apart from dirt vents) quickly and were very approachable.
