This review is based purely on our lodge - we did write to both the site and Hoseasons and no one responded PositivesViews when away from lodge areas were stunning SLippers and a robe were a nice touch ( but only luxury touch in a so calld Bouju resort) - Kitchen was well provided for, tiny but the site does not advertise it enoughThe hot tub was lovely and clean and hot - shame no view and most of the garden was taken up by a big tree so the hot tub lid could not be taken off completely Negatives ( need to improve and address) The lodge is not a lodge, its a bolt on to a building ( a lean to not the lodge until Hoseason avert)The space is very small, but a lot of big furniture - no need for a big coffee table No where to eat inside - they gave a table outside but taking into account the remainder of my complaint this was impossible due to sheer dirt - surely a small two seater bistro table would be better than the large furniture - bear in mind this is self catering and no where to eatThe look of the lodge mean't it looked like the toilet block - twice we had people just walk in despite there been a sign to say a lodge ( but once our car was parked this was not clear ) - asked both of them and they both said it looked like tatty outbuilding - we soon learn't to lock the door - the site owner did say she pointed out the areas for campers but thats only to one party obviously - maybe add a gate for privacy - bear in mind in the photos you will see the attached laundry block !!! The walls are paper thin - neighbours we could hear go the toilet one side and the laundry block the other which people used to wash up in The site area we were in was a building site, lodges in bits and a lot of construction, was not pleasant, we did walk around the rest of the site and the others pods were far superior - there are also a few permanent vans that look like no one has touched them in years - very unsightly and chatting to the caravan owners something they have raised a few times - we are aware of planning enforcementsWIFI - what WIFI - spoke with caravans on site and they said the firm had recently changed provider and the signal was non existent Now for the main complaints, mold and more mold - I did mention if but they said oooo the cleaner must have missed it ( how on earth do you miss that )- this was more than a miss this was a serious problems with damp and a fault with the bulding, now if you see the state of the outside there will be no suprise there was damp - to even put some one in there was not safe - I did say they should take it off the market until its sorted - but I feel they are new site managers and the site is in dire need of support - This was not a cheap weekend away, we book something that is what we hope is safe, secure, a bit of luxury - not a moldy, incorrectly advertised and well ugly holiday home The area is stunning, some of the other hot tub lodges look lovely but please avoid this one

We had booked the Country Pod but as the electricity wouldn't work we were promptly moved to Hi Pod One. As the Country Pod faced the road into the site we were lucky to move to the other pod which faced away from the road. This made all the difference as we would not have considered booking again if we had stayed in the original pod. The pod had everything we needed and was cosy and warm. The shower room was too small to get dried and dressed in but the shower was good. The shower tray was lethal as it was smooth plastic with no shower mat, we ended up using a towel to stand on. The steps up to the pod didn't have a handrail which I would have liked. Overall we enjoyed our stay, the pod was lovely and we would book it again.

The pod was a little tired, needs freshening up but on the whole ok for a couple of nights away. Nowhere really to put clothes. Could do with a few extra hooks etc. It was generally clean but we did have to have a bit of a wipe round when we got there. TV would be better on the wall as it couldn't be seen clearly from the chairs or bed because too low. Nice and peaceful and good location to explore local area. For the size of the pod the price was a little expensive and especially since we had to be out by 9am in the morning and couldn't arrive until late.

Stayed in a Hi pod. Very compact, warm and everything you need for a short break. Snowy white towels and bedding. Only minus is a corner kitchen sink that is awkward to use
Sarah, Coventry
Date of stay: 2nd May 2022
All round excellent. Host was fantastic. Location excellent. Would love to have had an oven . But we knew there wasnt one when we booked up . So we managed to get by. Also the mattress was just a tad to soft for our taste. But these things did not dampen our fantastic week in Yorkshire. We had a brilliant time at this accommodation and would recommend.

Had a lovely weekend away for the bank holiday with my partner. Good value for money and was worth paying for the VIP Pod to have the hot tub as we used it every night and loved it! Comfortable bed and very clean other than a couple of bugs but that is to be expected when at a pod in the countryside area. Had everything we needed such as fridge, table area, etc. Staff explained everything perfectly. Would visit again.

Only real thing that let this cottage down was it advertised WiFi but it was poor. You connect but it kicks you off again or doesn't load pages etc. other than that it was great.

The hut was bigger than we thought, clean and tidy and more than comfortable. We'd have liked a broom and mop to keep it nice and clean but that's the only fault I can think of!
