Lovely lodge. Comfortable, warm and pleasant. Lovely location. Just a few things for improvement. A couple of hooks for your bathrobes or towels in both the bathroom and by the hot tub. A bit more cutlery and crockery to make putting the dish washer on more apt. Spme wi fi boosters to help supply the lodges with wi fi and not just the reception area. We cannot comment on the communal facilities as we were too busy visiting places of interest and relatives!

Wrekin Lodge - good but ..Bed really uncomfortable and springs could be felt. Needs renewing I think. Im asthmatic and the large amount of plug in air fresheners played havoc with my breathing - no idea why there would be so many. Awful.

The lodge itself is wonderful; we had a few issues the 1st night and were swiftly dealt with - the staff who assisted were more then willing to help. however this is the second time we have stayed here and now feel it does need updating to the current times. Thus, this will jot stop us staying here again in the future - please give our thanks to the guys who dealt with our issues

Date of stay: 2nd March 2022
Great lodge but let down by some penny pinching in my opinion as meant to be luxury. There are no bath robes and only 2 large towels for 3 days showering and hot tub use this is not really acceptable or hygienic(luckily we brought our own). There are 3 toilets which all had the flimsiest cheapest toilet seats you can buy it just did not feel luxurious and it's a shame because the property lay out is great and could be luxury with a bit more thought, general updating and attention to detail. The kitchen and dining area where nice and the large bath in the master bedroom was great also a bottle of wine on arrival was nice. The restaurant on site was great but would recommend booking as can get busy also worth mentioning that it's very reasonably priced.
