Whilst it was a lovely place, there were issues..The reception stank of cigarettesThe lodge wasnt cleaned to a high standard - dust in blinds, stains on sofa. Other points were - no light above dining table, button on top of cistern was broken, the cord for closing kitchen blind was missing. There were no bathroom floor mats which made it a slip hazard when you came out the bath/shower.Bed was comfortable and hot tub was fantastic

My family and I stayed at royal arch for 4 nights over Christmas, when we first got in the lodge it was absolutely beautiful and clean, the host had put 2 selection boxes under the Christmas tree which was a lovely touch and had clearly taken the time to know we had our 2 children with us. There was a hoover there to use but the hose had been snapped and taped back together, luckily we had brought our own hoover so it didnt effect our stay in anyway.

The bed was very comfortable! The bathrooms are fitted lovely and were very clean. The rooms are clean and the kitchen has everything you need. The only thing which wasnt comfortable for me (but its personal preference), is the sofa as you could feel the parts of the sofa bed, but other then that I was very comfortable.

We stayed in Black Craig lodge which overall was great. It was clean, warm and fairly well resourced. Some small touches would have raised this review from 4 to 5 stars. There was a lack of any sort of welcome brochure and no welcome pack ( no tea, coffee, sugar or milk to get us started for example). There was no dish towel or cloth to wipe surfaces down and no oven glove. Though there was a dishwasher the lack of sufficient cutlery ( only 2 teaspoons for example) meant that this had to be hand washed. The sink tap is beginning to work loose and the bathroom fan stopped working during our stay. The lights in the fire werent working. The beds could use thick mattress toppers to make the less uncomfortable to sleep upon. That said, the lodge overall was lovely and the hot tub super. We would definitely stay here again

We stayed at the Dalgetie caravan for three nights. We were first amazed at the cleanliness of the place, everything was sparkling clean (was almost too scared to take two kids in it) then we stepped outside and the view and surroundings were amazing. We spent most of our time in the hot tub relaxing but also went a walk around which was beautiful. The kids favourite part was the tv in bath. Would 100% come back again!

A couple of minor things that could be improved on in our lodge. The knob was broken on the oven & grill so it was hard to switch on. Beds were quite lumpy & hot tub cover was in 2 parts so hard to open & close.Wouldve been good to have an information sheet on how to use the microwave & also where the outdoor bins were.

Great house to visit, friendly and informative guide, beautiful decor and I never get over the skills of the old craftsmen who build and decorated these buildings.

Location beautiful, staff friendly, lodge itself was lovely, clean and nicely furnished. Hot tub was clean and always warm n toasty. To improve - no oven gloves or dish towels... no basics like salt/pepper/tea/coffee/sugar... the bed was extremely uncomfortable very small and all the springs could be felt through it.

As mentioned in previous comment the quality of soft furnishings meant it was uncomfortable to lounge, relax and sleep in the Breamar lodge. The park itself is very maintained and staff friendly and attentive. Ideal base which is how we used the lodge for our Monday to Friday break.

This is a beautiful little park and the accommodation we stayed in was lovely with the added bonus of a hot tub for our personal use.We stayed in a beautiful lodge called Glamis however during the stay we noticed stains and curtains off rails which we hadnt noticed initially. We also had an issue with the television reception which they were quick to look into but it was not rectified during our stay. The kitchen was a wonderful space with most things thought of for making meals. The park is quite rural with an approximate 10 minute drive to the nearest shop so Id recommend stocking up on things before arriving. There is no shop or bar or any facilities at this park which was a little disappointing. The park is immaculately kept and the staff friendly and helpful. My husband and I would return and be more prepared but wouldnt bring our young son again due to there being no activities or anything other than the hot tub.

Overall just on the braemar lodge I feel it was overpriced, especially when we booked a luxury lodge for a weeks break for relaxation. This lodge was not comfortable to lounge or sleep. The only bonus that kept us there was the hot tub, lack of decent sleep and achy joints we eventually headed home day early.

We booked this as last min little break for my birthday Great reviews so thought fantastic sounds amazing We arrived late about 6 pm I received a text telling us the key would be in locked box , which it was cabin frazer was lovely looked brand new Everything was spotless couldnt fault it at all There was plenty of cutlery etc in the cabin so was all good Towels we couldnt find them but did eventually did , smallest towels in the world mind u Bath in en-suite bedroom with shower over it Shower cubicle in main bathroom Loads of cupboard space No hairdryer No iron or ironing board Hoover in small cupboard No brush or dustpan Hot tub behind the cabin thought was odd Not on the decking So if you want to go hot tub u go out your main door down your steps over the gravel over looking everyone ?? So we went to local supermarket and bought towering robes and slippers these were must Once in tub no one can see as small wood fence around it Tiny table on the patio with small chairs I loved this break really did Its amazing if you want quiet There nothing here no pub or anything near There is small new play area for the kids wooden Nothing in walking distance My only gripe Id say was there no welcome pack Nothing to tell you about cabin Who to ring if you had concern Wifi none ?? No info to tell us Where the bins were we found them eventually as I like to keep clean etc So Id def stay again if I wanted a small break get away from it all
