The Wood lodge is fine.

The lodge was nice and a good size but could do with a bit of tlc. The chairs in the dining room were very uncomfortable & would benefit from cushions. The bed in the master bedroom was pretty unstable. The oven knobs all need replacing as one was missing & the other 2 had melted. Otherwise the lodge was well equipped. TV was a good size & dvd player was a useful edition if you wanted to watch a film. WiFi was available but it wasn't reliable & kept dropping out. There was a bit of smell in the lodge because pets are allowed.

Clean lodge which was spacious and well situated. Nothing really on site but that suited us perfectly, lovely mountain views and only a few miles to several tourist attractions. It was a pain having to strip beds before leaving due to Covid (thought we were through that now) and reading meters to pay separately for gas and electric. It was only a few pounds but it's a faff and should just be built into the price. All in all it was a great break, the staff were all lovely and we will very likely return.

Love love love.first time here and stayed in Lodge 6, 3 bedrooms, double with en suite, large twin with bathroom access and a small twin. The lodge had everything we needed, we brought a lot which we didnt need like tea towels, washing up liquid, all cleaning products were there for us, there was also a hoover and ironing board/iron. This is a very quiet park which was ideal for our long family weekend away. Shopping just a short drive away and great views of the Ochil Hills. There is a restaurant on site, great food but book ahead, it was busy on a weekend. Staff were very friendly and helpful, called us early to let us know our lodge was ready so we got in earlier than expected. My only negative is you pay for electricity and gas when you check out, it wasnt much to be fair but is not included in the cost of your holiday. The park is secure with barriers. We are already looking to book again! Peace and tranquility all around this small but friendly park.

Gas and electric wasn't too bad even though we had the heating on blast for the first night as we didn't know how to turn it down. All in all we will be back in the summer to do some of the beautiful walks that are around!Oven isn't the greatest but you're probably not likely to use it much anyway. Would also recommend taking bin bags too as they aren't provided, also bring extra toilet roll. beds were comfortable and the lodge was well equipped.

Unfortunately there was evidence that the lodge hadnt been deep cleaned as stated on booking conformation and notices within lodge itself

Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The lodge was perfect. The only suggestion would be to add hooks to the back of cupboards and perhaps locate a couple without children away from the playground!
A great location.
