We had a lovely time at Tummel Valley. Our lodge was in a great location. It was clean apart from some marks on the furniture. The scenery is beautiful and we enjoyed the walks around the area. The park is nice and quiet but I can imagine its noisier near the reception and entertainment areas. We would go back if it wasnt for the mattresses. They were so uncomfortable and you felt every spring digging in. It meant we didnt sleep and it affected our holiday which is a shame as the rest of it was great. It does mean we couldnt go back for that reason as we dreaded going to bed!

apart from the issues with the lights and not being able to work the heating the caravan was quite good , we had to supply our own towels and things out side of van was a bit untidy but that was to be expected as we were in the forrest area

Poor access to forest trails directly from the caravan park area.To go to the forest with the dogs, you need to drive a few miles by car.

Nice accommodation, very comfortable. A couple of the internal doors were rather difficult to open sometimes, I think they may need adjusting. The bathroom in particular was the worst and would get completely stuck shut unless you were to put a great deal of force in to open it.

The location and surrounding were beautiful I felt that the accommodation let us down due to requiring a deep clean and also ensuring all of the advertised facilities available eg tv on bedroom not functioning also old dated main tv and cooker (oven) didnt work properly! However the view and surrounding were superb found entertaining 16,13 and 8 year old difficult not really catered for 16 year old but would love to come back for a stay long weekend next

Please see my previous review, the lodge was a disgrace, we gave the site 3 hours to sort out the issues and when we came back little had been rectified, so booked for 4 nights and left after one night. Were never going back to both Tummel Valley and Hoseasons . With Hoseasons you cannot speak to a human only via chat. If youre not on facebook, instagram or X you are in trouble.

Caravan VERY basic. No towels, no dish cloths, no tea towels, most places Ive been to at least give you a welcome pack with basics in, like condiments, soap, washing up liquid, etc. I suppose the idea is to not have any in the caravan so that you need to buy them at the shop on site. They charge you to hire towels.Staff not very helpful when we asked about activities. Food in chippy not very good, food in restaurant mediocre. Park itself is lovely and the surrounding area although the bins were often overflowing with rubbish. I would definitely visit this area again but in a different park.
