Our recent stay at Delamere Lake was exceptional. The location was ideal, just a short 20-minute drive from Darsbury, making it perfect for our visit to the Creamfields Festival. The park itself is beautifully maintained, and the facilities exceeded our expectations, catering to all our needs. The lodges were comfortable and well-equipped, providing a quiet and pleasant stay.We did encounter an issue with the entrance barriers, managed by a third-party security company. The agent answering the bell was often unresponsive, causing delays and frustration. While this isn't necessarily the park's fault, they might want to consider a more reliable security management company. That said, communication with the park reception and interactions with the staff during our stay and at checkout were excellent. The team was exceptionally helpful, accommodating, and pleasant.Despite the minor issue with security, our overall experience was fantastic, and I would highly recommend Delamere Lake for anyone seeking a peaceful retreat with top-notch amenities.

Beautiful lodge . Very spacious for 3 generations. Great location. Great except for drains smell and some missing lamp bulbs.

Great home from home, a few of the pans need replacing, bound to happen, but we hadn't gone to be doing lots of cooking anyway. Overall it was very clean but I found some old disposable contact lenses next to the bed side table they should have bee vacuumed up but hadn't.

Was a lovely lodge but need a bit of maintenance loo seat broken. Wardrobe doors were hanging off. Had to ask a member of staff to fix the bedroom window as that was fall out and couldn't use that room first night as it was to cold.

I would highly recommend and return. The lodge was spotless, up to date, we were left alone, hot tub was a lovely touch. Only thing I would say is that it doesn't state that you need to give 48 hours notice for late check out, so when we asked the day before they declined it.

The lodge we stayed in was lovely, stunning lake view, hot tub that was well looked after daily by staff, no need to visit reception everything is done by phone including the lock for the door, the lodge was lovely and clean, slight issue with heating not working on arrival, contacted reception somebody was there within 5 minutes to fix the problem which was great! En-suite shower sprayed water everywhere as the head was very loose when turning on so couldnt use that but other shower in main bathroom was fine! We did find the plates and cutlery were quite dirty with food still on plates and sticky tea stains in the mugs, but overall the lodge and its surroundings were lovely and would definitely stay again!

This was a last minute booking for October half term. We booked a 2 bedroom lodge with a hot tub for 4 nights, the booking process was easy and clear. We were in lodge 3, right on the lake. Online check in and the app key system meant we didn't need to go to the office but I popped in to let them know we had a Tesco delivery coming and hadn't been able to tell them the lodge number as this wasn't known at the time. The staff in the office kindly said they would let Tesco know, which they did, Tesco knocked on the lodge door without the need to contact me, very helpful. The lodge was really clean, tidy, well presented and very comfortable, we were all very pleased with it (2 adults, 2 children). There was plenty of room, the master bedroom was large as were both bathrooms. The showers worked very well and the heating in the lodge was good (it was a rainy cold week). The hot tub on the terrace overlooking the lake was fantastic and had plenty of use. There were a couple of toilet rolls in each bathroom so you will need to take a few more, there was also hand soap and towels. In the kitchen there was a very small container of washing up liquid but it lasted us for 4 days, 4 dishwasher tablets, bin bags, a cloth and a tea towel (one of those that doesn't work very well though, but we had taken our own). Everything else you would need was there; oven, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher, cafetieire, even a wine fridge. Minor, and I mean minor items, we could have done with a few more bowls and mugs and more shelf space for clothes in the bedrooms plus more hangers, but that was all. The location is excellent, the lake is a wonderful setting and the site seemed very quiet when we were there although we did see people coming and going, so it was ideal. We sat in the hot tub watching the many birds on the lake and the sun setting. It was out of season so none of the lake activities were open (we were aware of this). The nearest pub, the Vale Royal Abbey Arms was a very short drive down the road and I would highly recommend. Chester Zoo was a short distance away for a day out, we also went to Cheshire Outdoors for some activities for the kids, 5 minutes away. Go Ape is very close by also, indeed, there is a great deal to do in the area. Staff checked in on us during our stay to make sure everything was ok which was appreciated. All in all I would highly recommend and certainly hope to return.

We stayed in lodge 1 Delamere Point, which had a fantastic location overlooking the lake with its own private beach. The lodge was clean and modern, with an excellent supply of kitchen utensils. There was a washing machine in the cupboard and a hoover. The staff on site were very helpful - when our oven didnt work they came out and replaced it with a brand new oven within a few hours. Our only gripes were that the bedroom window blinds let in a lot of light, which meant that the kids woke us up super early each day. Also, there were a lot of spider webs and spiders on the outdoor furniture - the outdoor space wasnt cleaned as well as the inside of the lodge.

9th to 13th March 2020 - Me, my fianc, my mum, my dad, my Nan and little dog all had an amazing time at Delamere Lake Holiday Park. The cabins are beautifully located, spacious, and gleamingly clean. The beds were comfortable, and we was able to fully relax. The hot tub was ready on our arrival, it was lovely and warm! And there was parking space for our 2 cars. Amazing! Will definitely be back!

Exactly as advertised, quiet site in lovely setting. If you want a peaceful few days away this site is ideal. As site develops more amenities will probably be established.

We had a great stay with our family (2 adults, 3 children and a dog). The accommodation was very comfortable, staff very helpfull. De location great, view of the lake, wateractivities at the park and close to the forrest. Our jacuzzi was a big hit for the kids. The park is still small, but will grow a lot in the next year. We will reccommend this place to other families.

Absolutely amazing lodge with beautiful surroundings. Calm and peaceful location. We were taken a back with the attention to details and facilities. Massive hot tub, great kitchen facilities, televisions in every room, even our own row boat! The only thing we would have liked would have been a couple of robes or towels specifically for the hot tub. Very close to the beautiful Delamere Forest. Would definitely stay there again.
