Great lodge. Was a bonus there was a dvd player. Heating was effective. Shower good strength. Nice to have some essentials in a welcome pack like washing up soap, kitchen towel, milk sachets.

Great place stay staff friendly lots to do on site would stop here again

Perfect villa.. had everything you would need

Accommodation was poor, damp and mould everywhere. The smell was so bad it hit you when you entered. Carpet wet through in lounge

Terrible couldnt even stay in there stunk of dog wee even on sofas

Toilet blocked twice and had to have someone sort it out, unable to lock windows open so lodge was hot.

Lovely quiet and clean accommodation. Amazing hottub!

I cant really comment on Surf Wave apartment as we were upgraded to a villa!

Nice villa hot tub lovely and clean ????

We were allocated a first floor apartment by mistake after booking a ground floor. We had a dog so ground floor was essential, reception staff dealt with very quickly and upgraded us to a lodge which was fabulous and not expected, so very pleased.

Accommodation was nice and spacious. Bathroom had a walk in shower that was powerful and hot. We took our dog with us who was welcome in the bar down stairs. Food in the restaurant was nice too. There was a nice walk for us to take the dog whilst on site. Being an older couple we went before the season started so it was quieter on site. We were informed about this. In season there appeared to be a lot for children to do and entertainment at night. Overall this holiday would appeal to a lot of people of various ages and pet friendly. Staff were friendly and helpful during our stay.

Good accomodation, a bit of a walk from the car park to bring stuff in. Comfortable and warm though. Could do with side lamps in the bedrooms as only has overhead light which was strange

On arrival at Golden Coast we were advised that there were absolutely no facilities open whilst we were there (February half term). This was not made clear on the Hoseasons website at the time of booking however it has been added now. Other guests also complained about this to us. We had expected the outdoor activities to be closed due to the time of year however we thought there would still be entertainment/the arcade etc open. The Villa was nice, clean and had plenty of room for everyone (2 adults, 4 children). There were issues with the heat of the water particularly in the shower however we had a second one so avoided using the main one.

House was in mess , things damages and dirty bed was terrible too

We had a fantastic holiday at golden coast holiday park , the accommodation was clean on arrival and looked amazing, however, the beds were so uncomfortable, it felt like you were laying on a plank of wood , very hard, and you could see the springs emerging from the side of the mattresses. Everyone we spoke to had this same problem. we ended up sleeping on the sofa bed . The entertainment was great and bar and food prices were very reasonable. All the staff were lovely. Will go back

Great holiday Perfect location Accommodation was fab . Rough on the outside but spacious once inside . Beds were comfy .Sofa and chairs not the best - defo need a new sofa bed as not comfy to watch tv . Great facilities and activities for the kids . Good shop too Would defo go back

Just perfect . Everything you needed for a perfect holiday.

The only slightly negative thing to say is the lack of a large saucepan and oven trays. Everything else was spot on. Oh 1 more little thing, We were in PP20 and the Wi-Fi wasn't great. Could only connect with a laptop, mobile devices or Amazon TV stick didn't see the Wi-Fi name.

All fine, a bit too warm could have benefitted from more crockery and cutlery. Steps to apartment steep and a bit slippery needed algae removal

Very good all staff friendly and helpful only thing against it was on leaving day we left at nine and nothing was open was going to have breakfast so a little disappointed

The holiday itself was fantastic value for money, the location is ideal to explore Devon, the apartment was brilliant, lovely and clean, comfy and well equipped. The prices for food and alcohol were pretty high, but I guess it is a captive audience and you dont have to buy it. Personally I think the entertainment times were all wrong because they had bingo for 20 minutes or so at 6 pm then little childrens games and stuff after that, when really the little ones should have been getting ready for bed, still, only my opinion and I just went back to the apartment, no probs

Pleased with apartment very clean and adequately stocked. Sofa could do with replacing & Pillows.
