Warm, comfortable lodge with all of the facilities that you needed. Great decking area with an amazing view and a heated porch area for drying wet items.

Lovely lodge, they really have thought of everything and although we never needed to use the drying room attached to the lodge it was one of the main reasons along with the hot tub why we chose Hartsop. The location is perfect for exploring the Ullswater area. I only have one suggestion which is that the fencing erected to the side of the veranda needs to be a little higher as we were looked onto by 4 other lodge verandas, it wouldnt block any views but would provide greater privacy

Fantastic lodge was spotlessly clean! Great location if you want nice and peaceful break with a short drive to busier areas in the day. The two ladies who greeted us and also waved us off home couldnt have been more helpful and informative. Laundry facilities, heating cupboards to dry wet clothes, hot tub, games. Was an all round wonderful weekend and we will definately return!

The lodge was outstandingly modern and clean. The bed was very comfortable and the living room was cosy comfy and warm. The only added extra is out in this lodge would be a log burner.

Amazing location, tucked away but within walking distance of local villages. The views are wonderful and waterfall 5 minutes away!! Lovely place to relax, enjoy wildlife and surroundings. Good quality lodge, very cosy and warm, lovely hot-tub. Even got a show from the training F15s on two mornings!! Highly recommend, though try out of peak season for best value for money.

Great... staff were lovely and there on hand to help out. Always friendly... to be fair, there were reviews of the WiFi being poor! But.... had no issues... watched plenty on the tablet and phones worked without any issues and that was 4 of us!

If youre and outdoors person or family this is the place for you, plenty of walking routes direct from the site no need to fight for the limited free parking spaces around Patterdale and Glenridding, muddy boots and damp clothes are not a problem with a heated boot store situated next to the main door of the lodge, Ideal!! The hot tubs are well maintained by James and the views of the stars on a clear night are breathtaking! The lodges are well equipped with everything you need for cooking and cleaning, the furniture is of good standard and the beds are comfortable everything you need for a lovely break away with the family. Theres no other facilities on site other than washing and drying facilities at the main building, but theres a couple of pubs nearby if you still have some walking legs left or a 2 min drive if youre not a drinker. Overall we loved the place and look forward to returning.

Took my wife here for her 30th treat. Stayed in one of the premier lodges angle tarn. stay was perfect. Hot tub was great. The lodge was very well equipped. And very clean.
