We come to Keswick Reach Lodge Retreat every year and every year we are never disappointed! Its such a beautiful site with plenty of space between lodges and everything you need within them to set up your home away from home. This year we came for my Fathers 80th birthday and its safe to say he had an amazing time and was so surprised at the luxury of the Lodges. There were a few minor things that could be looked into the front door we had issues locking and unlocking, however a quick call to maintenance and they were out right away to assist, big thank you to the maintenance guy who came out at 11.30pm!!!! There were some bits of floor in the kitchen and en suite which were raised and being pregnant and unable to see the floor I tripped on these but luckily no harm done and in the en suite bathroom a disgared bobble covered in dust had been left on the windowsill prompting the questions if the lodges are being cleaned thoroughly especially with Covid still hanging round. Apart from these minor points we still enjoyed our break and look forward to returning next year with our new bundle in tow!

Lodge was lovely plenty of room beds were very comfy.

As usual summer rates are Inflated everywhere so prices are comparable with other like places. Other than that it was a relaxing and re-energising break. ALDI is a short 20 min drive away in Cockermouth so great for stocking the wine rack and fridge.

I can not wait to come back here! It was fantastic!

Excellent holiday and overall great experience. Maybe a small play park for children on the edge of the retreat would be a nice addition.

Could not comment on restaurant as it was only a take away and we did not use it. It was a great holiday, especially in the present circumstances of keeping away from people and crowded areas.

We had a wonderful time. We shared the holiday with our son and his wife, two children and pet. In separate lodges we were all so comfortable and the site was so quiet. Everyone on site was very quiet you only knew the number of people by cars.

Because of Covid , restaurant was closed, but delivery service was fine when needed. Staff are brilliant.
Know times are hard, and a pandemic has impacted, but a 30%/40% price increase over last year is tough to take.

Excellent stay in a beautiful location. Have already booked a second break with the same company in Yorkshire for October.

We stayed at the wainwright lodge facing the pond and with stunning view of the mountain and field. The lodge was very clean and smell fresh. You can tell that it has been deep-clean thoroughly. The beds were very comfortable, and the surrounding just perfect for us. Some of the downside we had during this time was the suspension of some of the leisure facilities due to the current Covid 19 restrictions (i.e. Sauna, Spa and Family whirl pool). The provided big screen movies on their TV network; however, I struggle to get it launched. Maybe this is due to the limited number of devices that were trying to get the access. However, this wasnt an issue at all as we hardly watch the TV during our stay. We enjoy our stay and we will definitely come back and stay again. Thanks

The lodge was immaculately clean on arrival, tastefully decorated and very well equipped.
I am unable to comment on the ambience in the restaurant as it was closed due to COVID. However, what I can say was the food was fantastic and delivered promptly to your lodge.

Coleridge Premier Select was spacious, clean and well stocked. Very nice.

A fabulous Lodge - our only negative is the shower was so hot that we had to wait until it got bearable after a couple of minutes running and this was on the coldest setting! Also the bathroom being open to the bedroom allowed light and noise to interfere with the other person sleeping.

Overall a really nice break. Would visit again

Enjoyed the park location and the lodge but no facilities on site albeit restaurants and bars were open in nearby towns.

Lovely accommodation. Very comfortable and it felt like a lot of attention had been paid to detail. Particularly liked the bathroom!

The lodge had everything you needed and had the added bonus of en-suite bathroom in both bedrooms. I know that they used an external company to deep clean the lodges but I dont know what that involved. I didnt find the floors particularly clean & some of the kitchen units had splashes on food / drink on the cupboard doors but other than that the cleaning was acceptable. I took antibacterial wipes and spray so I cleaned the kitchen work surfaces again to be on the safe side. Even if it has been spotless I would still have done that due to COVID.

Nice lodge been before , bit dusty with cobwebs this time. Light in bedroom didnt work. Could do with hoover or sweeper in lodge to clean up as u go. Need some area for children to play seperate to lodge and cars .
