Love love love this place! We stayed for 2 nights in a lodge which was right on the lake with our own private hot tub. The facilities were amazing. Everything so clean! The ducks also made the stay even more special. The only thing we would suggest would be more lighting maybe on the road edges and leading up to the lodges as on a night it was very difficult to see where we were walking especially with a newborn with us. We will definitely be returning here!

The accommodation was very clean and had everything we needed. The hot tub was lovely and clean. Good to see it being checked every day. We were a bit disappointed that we couldn't make use of the smart tv as there was no wifi, and even our phones didn't have good enough signal to be able to use that.

Sofa not fit for use, wasp infested and very dated, in need of refurbishment to maybe include sound proofing as you can hear every noise from adjoining cabin.

The lodge was lovely and spacious with a nice decking area outside for enjoying the long summer nights. Oh so many ducks to feed so take or buy an extra loaf of bread too. Bed comfy and nice decent shower.

Good:Yorkshire is beautiful and fun with lots to do, so the location is great. The reception, cafe, soft play and swimming facility (RCSPS) is nice as a whole, and the staff were helpful and polite.Bad:The RCSPS was really warm and stuffy on each day visited during a 7 day trip.It would have been great if the cafe could have been open till around 8pm each day rather than just the odd day, otherwise closing around 5 or 6pm.It's not made clear enough at booking stage that the accomodation you have booked will definitely not have wifi. We stayed in one of the most expensive accomodation types, sold as 'waterside' and pictured as if it overlooks water -in reality it overlooked the very edge of the last foot or so of a pond and did not feel 'waterside'.The standard of furnishing was average at best and dated. Uncomfortable sofas, beds and outside chairs were frustrating. The single shower in a downstairs toilet that had a gap (by design) in the shower screen permitting water to flood onto an already water damaged floor during each shower was also annoying.Ventilation was poor. At night the only chance of having fresh air was to leave a bathroom door open with a velux window tilted open, although for only a few inches, as more than that meant rain water could run in.At the end of the trip we were really glad to be going home, and won't return as things stand, we will look for an alternative in the region.

First of all this accommodation was clean and modern with plenty of kitchen utensils and a welcome cleaning pack. The smart TV had no internet but did have an excellent freeview service. However; there are not many images on the website, this may be due to the fact that the images are not of the Redwood Lodge Spa. It is also advertised as a lodge; which it is not. This is a 3 bedroom caravan with one standard caravan double bed and 4 standard caravan single beds. There were only 3 of us in the accommodation and we filled it. The table and chairs for dining and outside were for 4 people as was the hot tub. I would recommend this accommodation but only for 2 adults and 2 young children; my 18 and almost 16 year old son struggled to sleep properly in the beds due to their size. If I had known about the size of the beds I would not have booked this accommodation.

Brilliant lodge in a prime location! Loved the fact it was next to the water. The hot tubs are always an added bonus and private (apart from the roaming goats!) inside, there is everything you need and very comfortable. Loved the doors to the decking.

Lodge dated. Could do with a deeper clean as smelt of dog and cobwebs everywhere. New beds and mattresses also would be a good idea and no plastic inserts in the fridge door. Just very dated and could do with a refresh

Inside the lodge the actual fixtures and fittings nice. The only issue was that it was not pet free as I had booked. If you have mobility issues you cant park right outside

A few very minor damage to furniture ie freezer draws cracked and broken. Crack in sink in one of bathroom and dent in kitchen cupboard door. Other than that a fantastic stay with great facilities. Very clean hot tub and cabin. Will definitely be returning

Lovely little trip away! The only issues were the quality of the mattress was poor- there was a spring sticking out which was uncomfortable and the sofa provided was very small, but other than these two small issues it was great!

We upgraded to the birch (pet) lodge . It was a present for my husband for his 40th birthday. The upgrade was a big mistake! The lodge looked lovely but all we could smell was sewage from the down stairs toilet. And unfortunately it was raining a lot which is out of the holidays parks control but it meant we had to stay in the lodge a lot of our stay with the fowl smell. We did report this and a man came out many hours after we contacted them. And one the nights we could smell it upstairs in our room. Due to this we went home a night early. We spoke to someone about this and they advised a manager will contact us and Ive tried calling many times with no one answered the calls and left voice mails each time. I wanted to discuss before putting a review. This did put a massive dampener on our holiday. We rarely go to Yorkshire as we are from the south coast and its a very long drive. Would like to discuss this further. I will say the single bed were soooo comfortable more then the double bed but it was still good for a lodge. Loved that it has to bathrooms and a washing machine and dishwasher. The cleaning pack was fab and cute.

Nice place, good facilities and staff. We will return ?

We had a really lovely holiday and would definitely return and recommend to other people. The only thing I would say is for the price you pay a few more basic items could be added to the cabin like washing up liquid, toilet bleach, anti bac spray more toilet roll and a small milk maybe? We don’t drive and had to order the other items in, but if I would have known I would have bought them with me. Also if there was an option of having the towels changed once during the week that would have been really good. However it’s a fab place to stay and we all had a really great time so thanks very much. The staff were friendly helpful and professional at all times and facilities were great!
Sandra
What a beautiful location. The lodge was brand new and so comfortable and clean. Everything we needed apart from a long handled brush. If you want to keep the lodges in this top top condition you need to help the guests look after them too. It’s hard to sweep a floor with a dust pan and brush! The facilities were good especially the pool being free. Water activities need more equipment though. And ohhh the hot tub how fabulous was that! It made our holiday. All in all fantastic and I will definitely be coming back soon.

Pleasant surroundings, comfortable lodge. Good places to visit nearby.
Bethany
Fabulous holiday, loved the lodge, lovely and modern. Only issue was the hottub got a little dirty after on the third day, we told a member of staff but wasn't rectified for us. Mentioned it was because of the extreme heat and it was a brand new hottub so hopefully just a one off. Restaurant was gorgeous and the sports bar is a nice touch. Overall we would return in the future.

Brilliant week!!!!

We stayed in the dog friendly Aspen Lodge, which had a gated decking area which was great for the dog to have freedom, lodge was very spacious & clean & everything provided, hot tub was a bonus, location is amazing & fishing on site, very friendly staff, highly recommend & will definitely return.

Thoroughly recommend this park, a nice size, clean and tidy. Very handy having a the restaurant and sports bar located next door. Swimming pool, soft play, cafe and mini shop all very useful.
David
