I liked it, not much storage space and the cooker was not brilliant. On the whole though really good.

Appliances etc were very clean but there was a lot of dust in shelves & cobwebs on the ceiling. Plus some clothes storage would have been good

I could not fault the facilities and especially the cleanliness. Attention to detail in the rooms really made it feel like home. Absolutely nothing negative to say and I am very picky in general. This was really a WOW WOW WOW GRATEFUL and Thankful weekend.

The Suite is a spacious, well appointed and comfortable apartment, with fantastic sea views over the bay. It has everything you could need in the kitchen, a good shower and a comfy bed. There are two points that prevented me from giving it 5 stars; firstly, it needs a blackout blind in the bedroom (and the blinds in the living room need serious attention), and secondly, the floors in the flat above are very creaky, so if you are sensitive to noise, suggest you book The Pad upstairs instead - all the views without the footsteps!

The area the cabin was located in was quiet run down the local pub had shut for refurbishment and there was no where else to walk to. There was a lovely tea room but closed after 5 so the evening there was nothing to do. The jets in the hot tub were barely working so was a bit pointless sitting in there. The bathroom in the cabin was so small not fit for purpose could barely move around to dry your self. Very old and dated furniture water damaged skirting and stained floors. Kitchen cutlery draw was broken.

A few knocks on the furniture. A smart TV might be nice however the view made up for it. Felt very private even in the hot tub.

The accommodation is in need of updating. Its very tired, the privacy glass out the front was green disgusting. If you want to cook no bowls to prep no baking trays, 2saucepans 1 grater 1 jug and 1 pirex dish. The 2 seater sofa is not comfortable at all. The local area was pretty but its not good for out of season visits everything closed. Television signal is awful but they informed us was not them so out of their control so take a firestick. We always make the most of where we go so we had a relaxing break but we did leave a day early

Everything was in good working condition. Tv reception was a bit patchy and kept breaking up, wifi worked fine around 5mbs. If you book a Wrinklewood you may not have a nice view!

Excellent Location, situated in Hele Bay, approx 1 mile from Ilfracombe. Lovely long walks along coastal paths. Visited Woolacombe, Westwood Hoe and Bude. The Loft was amazing, so spacious with amazing views over looking Hele Bay. Accomadation had everything you needed, bedding provided along with towels, well equipped kitchen. Very very spacious accomadation.

Beautiful place to retreat to for a quiet stay. Well equipped and cosy. Shame that the cafe is shut thats in the bay as it would have been a nice place to relax but thats not part of the resort so cant be helped Stayed here before Hoseasons took over and it was still a caravan park - its definitely still got its charm and, as I got it on offer, I was able to afford it on this occasion- its normal prices are out of my budget sadly.Perfect solo break away for my birthday treat to myself.

Only slight negative feedback for Darwin escapes and nothing to do with the staff is that the cabins are starting to look a little sad, outside definitely needs a bit of a spruce up/paint also hot tubs are getting old, jets hardly work plus the temperature thermostat is totally out. We have a tub and set ours on 38 degrees which is a nice comfortable heat but had a real shock when we first tried to get in absolutely boiling hot, dangerously to be honest. Had to turn down 33.5 degrees to be comfortable. One last request, please put a mirror in the bedroom, loads of sockets but no mirror also please add another hand towel, 2 people = 2 towels each

Our room was clean and bedding and towels were crisp. There a few things in the cabin which need some attention Fridge door didn'talways shut prooerly, one blind not functioning and shower extractor not working hence the score is dropped from 5 to 4 but don't let this put you off from booking.

Brilliant stay at Beach Cove, friendly welcome with the guys who were quick to help us out sorting the gate and giving us pointers on where to go. We stayed in lodge 19 (I think) which we were a little disappointed didnt have a sea view, just a view of the car park! I think numbers 15-20 dont have the view, the others all do but we did have a dog so could be the dog friendly lodges perhaps. Location spot on, beach on your doorstep with a tricky but good walk into ilfracombe over the hill (40ish mins) or road walk in 30. Premier petrol station/shop and local pub 2 mins walk which is handy. WiFi was fine, 50mbs download which was fine for our firestick. Hot tub was best weve ever had at one of these lodge stays and dog secure garden. Kitchen had all the utensils etc we needed. Only 2 down points of this stay would be sofa is uncomfortable and there is a fair bit of dust in places (bathroom/radiators), just requires a proper deep clean to sort that out.Overall, wouldnt hesitate to stay here again and would recommend to anyone.

All in all a decent break would make other visitors aware that maybe for a certain age group the bathroom facilities were very hard to navigate.

Accommodation was tired worn and not the cleanest. Attention to detail lacking, the bathroom was small dirty and smelt of damp with cobwebs mold and rust. The TV and wifi was sketchy at best. I was really hoping for that cosy feel to snuggle up listening to the waves but apart from the bed its not really a comfortable living area.

We spent a few fabulous days in a very well maintained, spacious and well-equipped apartment literally 20M from the beach. We benefited from an unobstructed view of the bay and extensive ocean beyond. All members of staff were very friendly and couldn't have been more helpful, providing advice on our both living quarters, plus local attractions. Excellent walk from our apartment into Ilfracombe and many other hidden beaches and local north Devon towns to explore. I will have no hesitation in recommending to friends and family. I deal location and residence for a relaxing break.
