Sleeping in the beds was no problem for us or the children. We had a small problem of the TV losing aerial signal but staff were over to help immediately and solved the problem. Was happy and comfortable to spend the day in the caravan.

We had a great holiday at Castaways. The site is in an excellent location, right on the beach and is well placed for exploring the area. Our lodge was modern and bright. We were aware beforehand that the lodge was basic, so it was just as we expected it to be, though it would benefit from a bin in the bathroom, an oven tray as there was only a grill pan and a chopping board to protect the worktops. The windows could be cleaner, there were lots of cobwebs. It was disappointing that although wed booked a three bedrooms lodge, only two bedrooms had been made up, a quick visit to reception and extra bedding was providedOur holiday was great value for money and wed definitely go back!

Had a great week. Site clean and tidy. Caravan adequate beds could do with upgrading but didnt detract from enjoyment of the holiday. Excellent location for the beach. Excellent bar/restaurant. Staff went out of their way to find food alternatives for our granddaughter who has a food allergy

We arrived back from our holiday and I'm really not happy, the caravan had so many faults,1. Broken curtains.2. Cigarettes outside3. Smell of smoke in the van, which was extremely upsetting to my austic daughter.4. Dog poop outside not my dog.5. Building work right next to us full of men always outside drinking smoking.6. Rude staff not helpful, when I mentioned these I was told I could leave7.shower leaked and door didn't close.8. Wasn't very clean inside a hoover full of dirt and dust left in the caravan in the kitchen.9. Step steps into caravan my daughter hurt herself. This wasn't enjoyable, I felt intimidated I wouldn't come back.It felt like holiday makers were an inconvenience, staff were always drinking/drunk in the evening. Just didn't feel like it was run well.I am looking for a refund as we ended up staying in a hotel costing 136 a night due to the stress/upset this cause my daughter

We used it as a base and found it enjoyable. There are limited facilities for younger ages with a very small arcade and no Crazy Golf, Pedal bikes etc. but the Beach is good. There is entertainment on Site some evenings. The Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Great place to stay. Was very quiet. Lovely quiet beach visited by seals. Staff could have been more noticeable. Caravan was spacious enough. Quite clean although the windows were quite dirty. Would stay again. All in all we enjoyed it and would stay again
