Dirty old caravan which had not been cleaned before arrival, although staff said it had been. Food crumbs on units and tables. Excrement stains on toilet. Sticky substance on settee. Dirty carpets, oven filthy. Uncomfortable bedsOverall disgusting which is a shame as beautiful beach.Lorne seaview 29. Avoid at all costs.

The caravan was plenty big enough for me, my wife, two kids and two dogs. It also had a nice bit of decking so could sit out when the weather was nice.

The caravan was not the cleanest, toothpaste on bathroom sink, all crockery, pots and cutlery needed washed before we could use them. There was a leak under the kitchen sink we repaired it. One of the stools fell apart we repaired it. Walls and floors etc could be cleaner. Double bed very soft mattress. We had food from the Fish and Chippery one night, never again. We had a meal in the Coast restaurant, was not good. Caravan lacked a couple of kitchen items - tin opener and egg cups, also no spare blankets.

Extremely basic and uncomfortable furniture in lounge area. The view is unreal though which made holiday the best ever. Def need the cushions replaced as even with pillows to sit on etc its still so uncomfortable.

Shower/wer room floor needs looking at. Didn't drain where and left puddles but no squeegee provided to push water towards plughole. A mop was there but once wet, just ended up moving water around

Slight issue with one window which seemed to be broken at hinge but was secure and one knob on the cooker didn't work. Whilst in the bar after a meal on the Thursday night and when there were around 10 or so customers bar staff called last orders at 9:15 and although they informed everyone that the entertainment bar was still open we felt that the bar should have remained open a little while longer. Entertainment bar is not for everyone as sometimes people just want to sit and enjoy a quiet drink.

I never ate at the restaurant but we did use the chip shop for a portion of chips, which were raw in the middle. The caravan didnt have a blind in the bathroom which was awkward, the shower was stuck on really hot or scolding. The heating boost wouldnt work either I tried to use this because we didnt have a drying rail.

Furniture was quite grubby, carpet covered in stains. Could do with seeing a carpet and upholstery clean. Sofa sunk in the middle, so no-one could sit there.

The caravan itself was very spacious and had all the basic equipment you would need for cooking and eating in van. Van was very clean and the only negative we would raise concerned the quilt on the double bed. It barely reached edge to edge of mattress, there wasn't any for covering your side so we ended up taking the two single quilts from spare room through and using them. That was ok seeing as it was only myself and my husband there but if we had taken anyone with us it would have been been more of a problem. Overall very happy with holiday and will definitely return.

The caravan was excellent for the price with amazing views of the beach. Only negative, which is no fault of Grannies is the reception for the tv meant we couldn't watch it all week and there was no dvd player as alternative.

Went with my 5 and 6 years old for a long weekend Friday to Monday. Couldnt get a space for swimming the whole weekend as it was fully booked all weekend with a list of people waiting on any cancellations. Staff said people normally book swimming 6 weeks prior to arriving or when they book thier holiday. Needless to say my kids were very disappointed. So not much to do on site during the day (especially when raining) as the site relys on the beech as entertainment during the day or its small park or well dated plastic crazy golf course. Food is good but over priced aswell. Really wasnt our best experience infact pretty dissapponting. Is a good pit stop for the night if your doing the north coast 500 but not for any length of time especially with young kids. Dont make this resort a last minute decision based on it has a heated pool an so as you and your kids will be sorely disappointed because your really do have to book activities 6 weeks in advance

The caravan was great, well equipped and very clean. Everything worked.
We needed the heating in the evening, but it got warm very quickly.
Sat out on the decking reading one afternoon.
It was just perfect.
