Only given 3 stars as we felt facilities in cottage were poor. Firstly there was no washing machine as advertised in description, so we had to hand wash lots of items as we thought we wouldn't need full 5 days of clothing. Secondly there was nowhere to hang towels when showering so had to put them on floor, then there was nowhere to hang them to dry. Thirdly we didn't feel there was enough storage in the bedroom. Fourthly the TV was maybe a foot to high on the wall. We came away with sore necks.The cottage itself was lovely and peaceful and the hot tub was a great relief after long bike rides.

What an amazing place to stay! For my 50th birthday my family stayed in Mint. Everything was fantastic. The rooms were comfortable and beds comfy.We planned to eat in, bringing our own food and the kitchen was so well equipped this was a pleasure to cook in. We loved the pool table and hot tub and this proved to be just the most fantastic place for a family weekend. Very highly recommended.

Beautiful cottage, highly recommend.

This was my second visit as loved it the first time. I stayed in Sage both times and loved it. Very comfortable beds and plenty of space within the barn, I love that every bedroom has its own bathroom, which are also at a very high standard, the showers are exceptional, I wish I had one in my own home. The large dining table and pool table is great for entertaining. The hotub was also hot and exceptionally clean, and made for a nice relaxing time at the end of each day! The staff onsite are also super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

Amazing from start to finish - Gorgeous surroundings and staff couldn't do enough for us after some teething issues with the electrics sorted out quickly and rest of stay was 5 star

Sage Cottage was lovely, very warm and cosy with. great hot tub, we loved the pool table. Great break.

Fantastic will definitely go back. Was a little dusty in places but overall very good.

So lovely I rebooked the same accommodation for next year! The Oregano was MASSIVE, beautiful and way more than we ever expected. Best staycation accommodation Ive EVER stayed in.

Could do with a few more utensils in the kitchen - wooden spoons etc for cooking. We had a thoroughly enjoyable time, spacious enough for 7 of us. A few bits were a little tired, the odd screw missing here and there, broken lamp in bedroom and lounge. Pool table was great. Thanks also for the complimentary logs for the log burner.

honestly cannot fault the place. there was a broken tin can opener but we took it to reception and immediately for given a new one. absolutely beautiful bedrooms and a spacious living area

Amazing holiday home!

Parsley is a lovely cottage and on a nice quiet site. On first looks the cottage is amazing, and is so beautifully set out and decorated, just a few small things let it down. There is a sauna on site that can be booked out at reception which is a great unexpected extra as well as a wood store for you to collect logs for the wood burner, which a lot of places Ive been charge extra for. The hot tub was perfect, and the cottage was always lovely and warm, with ample room for guests to be comfortable. The only little things that let it down were no hooks, or hooks were broken in bathrooms, few other broken bits that hadnt been repaired. The downstairs bedroom said a king size and it was only a double bed. There was no dish cloth to wash the pots, TV remote ran out of batteries, and the lighting even where there are dressing tables is so dim you had to get ready in a bathroom and do your hair in the dark. There is also no where to store your clothes other than hangers so spent the week living out of a suitcase, and with a baby that isnt ideal. Parking also isnt situated outside the cottage and is a small walk, which when you have a lot of things is a pain. A few other bits such as not enough wine glasses for everyone etc but overall would book again and just be wary of the above. It didnt massively impact the holiday, its just things I would expect having visited other accommodation similar. Also staff were very friendly and helpful.

Lovely, well maintained accommodation on a very peaceful site, close to Skegness.The accommodation is beautifully finished and very well presented. The only suggestion we have is to include some hooks outside for towels near the hot tub, a door matt for wet shoes by the front door and the code for the barrier entry needs to be printed in the book you are given on arrival. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wouldnt hesitate to come back!

Lovely spacious accommodation with big bedrooms all with ensuite walk in showers. Nice and clean with all the extras you need for a great stay. A couple of niggles that are probably personal to me but I think would make a big difference. There needs to be a shelf in the shower to put toiletries on and a towel hook closer to the shower. The outdoor furniture needs changing as it has cushions on which are left outside in all weather's so where green and absolutely sodden. Would definitely return.

Overall, the lodge itself was really nice. Few little furnishings that needed improvement but i understand that in a holiday home youre going to get that. The first night we didnt have heating & the second we called the out of hours number as we didnt have any brochures or any idea how to turn the heating on. They answered the first call and said theyd call us back on how to sort it. After an hour, we still hadnt had a call so I called back, no answer. 13 calls that night and still no answer. We had a 3 year old with us so was not ideal as the lodge was freezing. The following morning called again, finally answered. And they told us to go out OURSELVES and find a groundsman. We couldnt find anyone so went to the front desk and then a lady came round to sort it. Then to find out we wouldnt have been able to turn the heating on as they have a tamperproof heating system as the owner didnt want to waste money on heating. On the second night we started smelling waste in all the bathrooms which wasnt pleasant but that was sorted by leaving the showers on for 5+ minutes as thats where it was coming from.

We originally booked The Meal House, but were upgraded to Sage Cottage before we arrived. The cottage and site are beautiful. Our favourite feature was the private balcony hottub overlooking the lake, with sunset views!
3 well presented ensuite bedrooms (with VERY comfy beds and blackout curtains), and an open plan living, kitchen and dining area.
The listing said pool table which wasn't there, but there's certainly space for it!
Smart TVs in all rooms, and a bluetooth speaker downstairs, nice touch!
It was missing pasta/cereal bowls (we ate out of some baking tins one night) and some proper glasses. But overall absolutely fantastic and would reccomend to anyone!
There is a coop a 3 minute drive away, and skegness is only 10 minutes.
Only downside is you can hear the people in the adjoining cottages - but wasn't too bad during our stay.
100% will visit again if ever in the area!

We will definitely be revisiting The Meal House. It is a beautiful cottage, great layout. The hot tub is large, which is great.
I can honestly say our week was so lovely and relaxing whilst staying at The Meal House.
Staff can be contacted on the telephone and answer any questions. The hot tub is checked everyday for ph and chlorine levels.
It was lovely sitting outside at night and seeing hares, foxes and bats; beautiful and quiet.
Cannot wait to be go back.
Short drive to supermarkets. The village is lovely, great selection of pubs and restaurants.

Brilliant value for money have everything you need to make it a comfortable stay only thing I would suggest is bigger towels and bath robes for the bigger people been big myself the robes and towels hardly cover your modesty but other than that I can't fault it thank you

Enjoyed our stay, just a few little details which are, bedroom didnt have a window, one of the single beds wasnt comfy, the bedroom with no windows we rolled to the middle, no hooks in the bathrooms to hang towels, outside seating was wet so anyone who wasnt using the hot tub couldnt sit outside, the hob was difficult to use , think the sofa needs to be like a letter u, hope this helps,
we enjoyed our stay so much that weve booked for next year.
