Booked a chalet on arrival was given keys to a van not being told of the change after returning to reception was only told then that the change was because of water damage we told reception the seat area was to small for our party of four adults one who was over six foot tall only to be told no other van or chalet was available and if we didnt want to stay we didnt have to so after a four hour drive you just expected us to turn round a drive four hours back home .Not great customer service Im afraid

although the location was nice and close to the beach the caravan we stayed in wasn't very conducive to sleeping as the lamp outside beamed in light that made it seemed like it was daytime at night time and when it got windy outside the caravan had an irritating Squeak.

We hoped to be nearer to facilities due to 2 disabled in party but I guess not always possible. The accommodation was twice the price of a booking we had later in the week which was really disappointing as the second booking was probably better. The main difference was no en-suite to double bedroom which for the price difference didnt matter.Entertainment good.Fish shop very good.

We had a really pleasant and relaxing holiday in a caravan that was well fitted out and spotlessly clean. We did have a problem with the TV but that was sorted within minutes.I will be recommending your site to others.

Very upset that we were unable to take the kids swimming. Also was only able to eat in the restaurant once and could not get booked again. Also managed to get into clubhouse once. When we went the second night it was booked and the only way to get in was to wait outside to see if anyone left. Not a good idea when you have two small children with you and it was raining.

We had a very relaxing time, enjoyed playing bingo with a few drinks, had some time in the amusement arcade. So overall we had a great holiday. And would definitely come back again

Great time, second visit so that says it all.

Date of stay: 18th July 2020
The lodge was more than adequate for our needs and was a big improvement on 6 of us being squashed into a caravan. My only disappointment was that there were faults on arrival, including a broken down dishwasher. I feel this could have been avoided had the accommodation been inspected and issues remedied prior to our arrival. However, the accommodation was spotlessly clean, had lovely decor and was very, very comfortable. I would definitely stay in a Kingfisher Lodge again!

First time stayer. Booked chalet for 3 nights 13/03/20 so was a quiet period.
Within 30 minutes of arriving l broke the bathroom door handle being to heavy handed, reported this to the reception along with my concern fridge was not working. Within 45 minutes both issued sorted by friendly staff members, brand new fridge/freezer installed.

Chalet nice and warm, clean and of good size. Fully stocked of suitable items for self-catering. Only criticism l would have is regarding the oven, when attempting to use it smoked so much smoke alarm set off. The oven didnt look dirty persay so it could have been lack of rinsing off cleaning products.

The park needs to address the very loose rand rail/patio fencing leading between reception and the onsite shop, an accident waiting to happen.

This was one of the parks that we had been to.

Date of stay: 13th September 2019
As we had asked to be moved to another accommodation due to it smelling of smoke, we were given an Eagle Lodge which was in a very quiet part of the park, next to the fields and close to the beach. Very comfortable and great facilities, enjoyed late lazy sunny afternoons on the veranda with a glass of cider!
Erika, Rochford
Date of stay: 2nd September 2019
Fantastic park with good facilities. Hired a lodge which was well worth the money, super sized and exceptionally clean, perfect for a large family. Swimming pool area a bit tired but kids didnt seem to notice. Beautiful location 1 min walk from beach and 1 min walk from entertainment complex. Loved the Sunday afternoon fun day, lovely idea and hours of fun for £2 each. Will be back next year.
