Lovely & clean, warm comfortable. Furniture looks new like a refit , bathrooms dated & hallway doors dreary.Everything you need in the kitchen. Just a bit dated but price for weekend stay reflects that. We were not disappointed though as enjoyed it all. Lovely open view to grassed area at the front.

Very nice lodge . The addition of games and books was a nice touch .The outside decking area with furniture would have been great but in Feb not quite the weather.I think maybe larger sofa needed if 6 adults were staying ( 2x2 seaters provided)Prosecco and chocs a nice touch on arrival.

We loved our holiday at South Lakeland. The accommodation was brilliant, the pool and facilities were clean and well maintained, the bar was quaint and cosy & the restaurant food was really excellent!! Apart from the heat, (which can't be helped and really don't want to complain about the little sun we get!) the country home was fantastic. Our daughter loved it, the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed for self catering. Beds were very comfortable and overall decor was fine. Stairs leading up to the country home were very rickety which was a little unnerving as I was heavily pregnant but that didn't affect our enjoyment of the holiday one bit and would still recommend it.

What a brilliant 1st anniversary me and my husband had, the lodge was fab & clean and the views of the lake are gorgeous. We also had a full body massage in the spa which was amazing, the restraunt is lovely and food also. We also had brilliant weather for the whole week and explored the gorgeous lakes. Beautiful lodge; we were situated around the lake and had a fantastic view. We used the on site gym and swimming pool for a small fee. Only thing I would have liked to see is an on site shop selling essentials as we had to call to local supermarket just for milk and bread. Great food in resteraunt but took quite a while to get the food even though it wasnt that busy. Will definitely go again.

Great location, the country house we stayed in was lovely. It's very clean, modern & spacious with all bedrooms & bathrooms on ground floor & lounge, kitchen on the first floor. It's also very close to the park restaurant, bar & swimming pool facilities.

Very quiet peaceful site, unfortunately the restaurant cannot run at capacity due to staffing shortages, so limited menu. Very relaxing and a good base for the lakes etc.

Nice lodges with ple ty of outdoor space, onsite restaurant was nice and reasonably priced, no onsite shop but 5min drive away from local centre with shops, pubs and restaurants, lovely pool although shallow.

Lovely setting on the edge of the Lake District and Yorkshire dales. From our lodge we did have a view of the lake and was in a quiet setting. On some parts of the site, there was traffic noise. Swimming pool, gym and restaurant onsite as well.

We had a wonderful 3 nights in Gressingham 40. It was so quiet and clean. Park facilities were excellent. The lake is beautiful. Special thanks to Matt in the Fitness Centre for being brilliant. Made to feel like part of the family. We will be back.

Cabin was great, excellent location. Would definitely go back. Would of liked the bar and restaurant to be open longer as it closed at 8 or 9pm. I can’t rate the food on site, we didn’t eat there.
