Dingles Steam Village is an all weather attraction crammed with activities for the whole family to enjoy. The site has a wonderful Café serving home cooked meals, a fun Soft Play Area for younger children, an Agility Course for older kids and several Nature Trails for the family to explore together. River Dart Country Park has over 90 acres of woods offering stunning scenic walks, beautiful lakes and open parkland. The park also has a good range of facilities for children including Jungle Ropes, Climbing Frames, Cargo Nets and a wooden Pirate Ship. For younger children there is a toddlers Play Area and a small Beach. During high season supervised activities may include the mega Zip Wire, Canoeing and Rock Climbing.

Tintagel Castle is one of the most iconic landmarks in Cornwall and is an excellent place for a family day out. Situated on the stunning Cornish Coast the Castle has a mystical and magical presence and is steeped in historical importance. Indeed the Legend of King Arthur was born right here. The Donkey Sanctuary is a working refuge for rescued Donkeys but is also a popular place for a day trip in South Devon. The site will appeal to animal lovers of all ages and gives visitors the chance to meet some of the friendly animals and also learn about the work done at the sanctuary.
