Shocking place & very ignorant & rude staff

Incredible, stylish, clean and utter perfection! Most definitely be returning, very pleased!!

Upon arrival we was told the hot tub wasnt working in the lodge that we had booked, there was an electrion there and he was trying to get it up and running, after 30 minutes waiting to see what was happening we was told they couldnt get it working so they needed to move us to another lodge, we was also told that there was no fresh bedding in any of the bedrooms and that they would send someone to come and do the beds, after nearly an hour 2 people turned up to do the beds and I can say they did not seem pleased to be there at all! Infact we felt very uncomfortable! The hot tub was absolutely freezing so couldnt be used that day at all! Come the next morning it was Luke warm! And stayed that way the rest of our stay so we barely got to use it as it was just to cold! The water also was nowhere near the fill line! And were it should have been was a dirty mucky line going all the way round the inside! We had no welcome back that I had to keep asking for! The lodge inside was very dusty! We was also asked if the couple next to us could park there car on the grass next to our lodge so they could use our charging port as they had an electric car and was put in a lodge that didnt have one! I will say there was a girl there who was brilliant she got someone to get the welcome pack sorted and to us and in the meantime she come with a pint of milk to our lodge so that we could have a drink! Its a shame really as the decor was up to date and was lovely and its a perfect location for been so close to Skegness town ect! We definitely wont be back!

Cannot fault the lodge at all. Excellent quality, very clean and tidy. Great facilities.

Beautiful lodge!!Everything you could need and super clean.Sunken hot tub was a delight.Secure decking was priceless for our little baby.Lovely views of the golf course. Highly recommended and would definitely rebook!

Everything all exellentValue for money and very easy to find

I had a very relaxing 7 day holiday as a solo traveller. My lodge was wonderful and the hot tub provided a very relaxing chill out time. The golf club was in quite a central location to travel throughout Leicestershire. Ready to book the next Hoseasons get away!

Lovely and comfortable lodge advertised as 8 berth, however the seating in lounge was only suitable for 4-5 people, the dining area and veranda was only suitable for a max of 6 people and the hot tub would only fit 4 people. The only glasses available were made of plastic and not good quality and scratched which are OK for the hot tub but it would have nice to have proper glass for use in the lodge. We had to strip bedding and empty bins and then phone housekeeping to check the lodge and handover keys. I feel this should be done by housekeeping and not by us. I tried calling housekeeping a number of times and got no answer and we were trying to get away as we had a long journey ahead of us. We should be able to drop off keys and leave the housekeeping to do their job without having to wait around.

Overall this is an excellent location with clean well provisioned lodges. It was peaceful, relaxing and if you like golf a perfect setting for watching. The welcome pack was very good, with all consumables provided for the dishwasher and washing machine. This may vary by lodge type. The only area we would suggest for improvement is to provide better quality mattress's. This is the only reason we dropped a star. Everything worked well.The hot tub was very good, clean and of a good overall standard with plenty of jets. An added bonus was the provision of a car charger at each lodge which worked well for us. Overall we would recommend Addlethorpe. Thank you and keep up the standard of cleanliness and attention to detail.

The lodge had everything we needed. Hot tub was amazing. We would come back here. But take your own pillow to sleep on. The ones supplied were a little hard for me. But luckily I did take my own pillow

Brilliant lodge and perfect location

This lodge is one of the best Ive ever stayed in. Every facility included. Very clean and well equipped . Lovely quiet lodge. Would definitely recommend ????

Only thing I would say is that the washer dryer would wash but not dry. But the lodge was gorgeous!

This was a beautiful lodge in lovely quiet surroundings. Just outside of any towns you may need. We had a problem with the hot tub on the first night but straight away the issue was resolved. It was a fantastic stay until departure when we were asked to phone the departure team between 9-10 and wait for them to inspect the lodge and take the keys from you. We phoned at 9.15 then again at 9.45am no show so at 10.05am we went to the country club who said no problem everyone brings the keys here !!! WHAT I only got told the day before to call and wait at the lodge.

So I have given a 5 star rating as the accommodation and setting is outstanding. Very clean, best lodge we've ever stayed in. Hot tub amazing. On arrival however our accommodation wasn't ready for 4pm. The girl on reception hadn't a clue when it would be. A manager finally got involved and gave the kids a free ice cream but we didn't get the Lodge keys until 6pm so 2 hours late.Also we tried to order takeaway one night from the bar, a service offered when we checked in and after multiple calls noone answered. We ended up at local chippy instead.So a few niggles, if the staffing issue gets sorted then it really will run like clockwork as could be amazing. We would definitely stay again, hopefully more staff on board by then ????

Few fly in the lodge but as the location was near woodlands not sure what would be able to do

The lodge was beautiful although a bit more care could've been put into the cleaning before check in (decking, handprints on windows/tv, hard floors) this said it wouldn't put me off booking again. There was a strange smell upon arrival but after opening windows and buying room air fresheners it was fine. Well equipped kitchen. Comfortable beds and sofa. Hot tub is a nice size for 4. Staff are friendly and helpful. We had an issue connecting to wifi but they sorted it quickly. Golf was easy to book. All equipment can be hired and dress code is relaxed. It was about 40 minutes steady walk into Ingoldmells. There are a couple of pubs closer. We enjoyed the peaceful surroundings.

Beautiful lodges in a lovely setting, only let down by the seriously uncomfortable bed.

Lovely large lodge with good facilities. Nice to have two bathrooms when coming with grandchildren.Could do with softer pillows and would be nice if there were some gates each side at the bottom of the steps (or some side decking) to stop dogs and children being able to escape when the main door is opened!
