Lovely lodge. Bedrooms were compact, the twin room would be a bit small for two teenagers but ok for younger kids or just one older one. Living area was spacious and was well equipped.

We stayed in Chase Hares 3. Its a lovely small lodge. Kitchen has everything you could need. Bed was very comfy and Hot tub and decking area is great. Decking very good size, secure for dogs/kids with a lockable gate. Was very clean considering its a pet lodge. We didnt take the dogs but you couldnt tell it was a doggy lodge as it was clean and hair free. Area has many attractions within easy drive, Blenhiem Palace and Bath just over hour away. It was a lovely quiet location however be aware of the following:Site rules are that hot tubs dont get used after 10pm. Id not have booked if had known this. The smaller lodges look onto a high hedge and other lodges. No oportunity to watch for deers or wildlife like the advert photos suggest. For this you would need the larger lodges that are near the woods. Lovely river access however you will only be able to use this in dry summer weather due to excess mud.No areas for a run except onto the road but there is a doggy area. Peaceful, clean and nice for a short brea

Lodge was spotlessly clean and had everything you would need. The hot tub was lovely, clean and maintained twice daily. The only down sides for us was the onsite bar closed at 4 and didnt serve food, and the main bed mattress was incredibly uncomfortable and needed replacing which we explained to staff at checkout. Putting that aside we would be more than happy to stay here again and already considering so for next year.

Bright, modern & clean accomodation. Additional touches which other park companies just don't do, it's appreciated. The friendly welcome and lovely accommodation keep me returning.

I had a lovely stay at Brendon lodge and would definitely book to return again in the future. The lodge was beautifully decorated with the added touch of storage in the hall way and a little laundry room. There was so much storage throughout and it was nice to have a modern kitchen and 2 large sofas. My only recommendations being that it may be helpful to have more trays for cooking and maybe to include a couple of small extras to help someone with there stay for example hand soap in the bathrooms, maybe some salt, pepper, oil. Also in the dog lodges maybe a water bowl and a dog towel, I brought these with me just Incase but I have been to many in the past who provide these. These could stay in the lodge so wouldnt be an expense each time. Regardless of that I had a great time exploring the Cotswolds and the dog throughly enjoyed her stay also. I look forward to returning.

This is our 3rd year returning and we have booked 2024 already, so if that doesnt tell you enough, Im not sure what will!! Its a quiet place which suits us just fine, and some great walks straight off the park for the dogs. Theyve started to expand which is nice to see. Lovely staff, great hot tub and always nice and warm.

We had the best October half term here. (2 adults, 2 kids and a dog).On the site itself there is not much to do but that's what we loved the most about it, it was the perfect setting to have a nice chilled week.We went out when it was dark and spotted deer most nights and even a badger. We went to West Midlands Safari Park, which is about a 45 minute drive but it was so good, definitely recommend. We also hiked up Bredon View Hill, the climb itself is very steep but the view was amazing at the top.Pershore is a lovely little town and is filled with shops and pubs. We paid a visit to the Star Inn for lunch and it was really nice. The lodge itself was clean and was equipped with everything we needed for the week.

This is a fabulous rural location. We saw deer, squirrels, red kites. There is a cafe/bar but at the moment, as there are only 5 lodges on site it is not busy at all. There is a golf course and again this is not busy. Unfortunately we brought our smaller car and although my husband brought his clubs didn't bring his trolley and there were none to hire even though it's a golf club. The site is under development and I am sure this is going to be amazing. Our lodge was beautiful and clean and had everything we needed. The hot tub was great, checked twice a day. All staff we met were friendly and helpful. There is a river walk but the reeds are so high you can't see the river but there is one point where you can sit and have a view of the river. The closest town is Pershore it is a 5 minute drive, wouldn't risk walking on the roads. The village of Elmley Castle is also a short drive, we ate at The Queens a few times and the food was delicious. We had a lovely relaxing time at Bredon View and wouldn't hesitate to go back.

A relaxing holiday in a brand new tastefully decorated lodge with a lovely outlook and hot tub.
Great value for money considering the time of year.
Lovely surroundings , plenty to do in the area and Pershore town is a 2 minute drive from the lodge.
We look forward to returning when the development is complete - if not before.

A very comfortable and clean lodge with views from the decking and hot tub of the golf course, although private at the same time. Very quiet and peaceful. Would definitely stay again. Only improvement would be some comfortable seating on the decking as currently only a table and wooden chairs. A lovely place to stay.

We had a wonderful time at Bredon. The site is still under development so there are currently only 4 lodges but it didn't detract from what was a great stay. The river runs alongside the development, there are nice walks (we visited Malvern and Cotswolds), we had great food in local pubs plus everyone else is in Devon/Cornwall/the coast so the traffic was low round here! There is so much to do locally. The lodges are beautifully decorated, brand new, with lovely views at the back of the golf course. We would definitely return.
Christopher
Brilliant & cosy cottage far enough out the way to be secluded but close enough to local amenities. Amazing hotub & bathroom with underfloor heating throughout tops it off. The owners, Rob & Sharon are wonderful! (And of course Bonnie) Will definitely be coming back again for longer ASAP!!
Emma
Beautiful cottage with hot tub and log burner. lovely hosts, peaceful, perfect for our mini break. Hope to return for longer soon!
Phoebe
Really well equipped house, lovely and warm too which was so nice on a rainy December day! Bath was just lovely and a nice big shower! The property is under a flight path - this did not disturb us at all! Dont be put off! A great location for dogs who hate fireworks as it's in the middle of nowhere. Really beautiful, well converted property. Thank you!
Andrew
It was everything we wanted for our weekend away and we loved staying here. We'll definitely be back! Our pups absolutely loved the underfloor heating and had so much fun in the garden. In fact Luna came home with a strained tail and according to the vet it was because she was wagging it so much over the weekend!! Very happy pups and hoomans!
Simon
Lovely cottage. Great location for us. Away from the hustle and bustle. Great hot tub . Lovely helpful non intrusive owners. They have it just right!
Brooke
Absolutely loved how well maintained and equipped this cottage is. Plenty of dog walks right on the doorstep. Very friendly host, they were so efficient and communication was excellent. We enjoyed meeting the animals on the farm and the very curious pig penelope. Perfect escape for us and the doggos. Will definitely be back, brilliant value!! Highly recommend.
Libby
Beautiful property, spotlessly clean, well equipped and very comfortable, had a fabulous break, hot tub amazing x
James
Very kind and considerate owners. Couldnt be better. Enormously helpful and extremely pleasant. Charming half-timbered cottage with a great strong shower, cosy kitchen & living room combination and very comfortable bed. Fantastic parking directly next to the rented cottage. Well heated and very charming, and spotlessly clean. Great walks across the fields to the local village of Thaxted and of course within easy travelling distance of the village, replete with half-timbered houses and windmill.
Annemieke
We had a wonderful time in Goddard Mead. The cottage was very complete and there were walks on the doorstep. The welcome and stay was very warm. The owners are lovely people.
Carol
The owners Rob & Sharon, have gone to a great deal of work to sympathetically convert this historic building & we couldn't have had a warmer greeting from them both & of course Bonnie. Goddard's Mead has everything you need for a relaxing and comfortable stay. The location is in a great area of Essex and would recommend taking the time to wander around Thaxted and other villages/towns nearby to discover it's fascinating history & buildings.
Inderjit
Such a lovely place to stay in a really beautiful, private location. The owners were really friendly and helpful, nearby if needed but without breaking that sense of privacy. The hot tub was perfect after a day of cycling! One thing to be aware of, the cottage is right under Stansted's flight path, and so there's a lot of aircraft noise. It only took us a couple of hours to get used to it and it didn't spoil our holiday at all, but something to be aware of if you're sensitive to noise.
Richard
The lovely cottage is situated on a working farm, but is very private. The owners, Robert and Sharon, are delightful. The cottage is very spacious with good equipment in the kitchen and the bathroom. The bed is really comfortable. The garden is secluded; dog proof and with good furniture. There are numerous walks around. Thaxted has good restaurants. We liked The Star and The Maypole. The Swan and the Indian are not bad either. We thoroughly recommend this place.
Denise
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and Sharon and Robert were great hosts and made us feel very welcome. The accommodation had everything we needed and was clean, comfortable and secure for our dog Archie. The location was ideal too with plenty of walks to find and Thaxted and surrounding villages are lovely places to visit. We felt our batteries had certainly been recharged during our week and we enjoyed our relaxing break!
