This caravan offered 1 double with a loo, 2 twin bedded rooms and a shower room with 2nd loo. The shower was excellent. The kitchen was very well equipped with microwave, big fridge/freezer and all the utensils you will need. The dining table was big enough for a 1000 piece jigsaw (important) but there were only 4 chairs (4 more on the deck). The large bank sofa was great. Big TV and we took an HDMI cable so the internet provided us with what we needed. A friend had warned me the oven was very slow and it really was so I was thrilled I had taken my air fryer. They provided hand soap and a dish washing pack but I used my own & brought oven gloves and t-towels. Bath towels and bed linen were provided but bring swimming towels. Some reviews complained about the lack of entertainment on site but this was the reason I chose the site. Nice trees and birdsong, was what we needed.

Wasn't caravan we paid for, put in this one on arrival, wasn't given reason why. So for what we paid it was great. Large sofa is uncomfortable in the middle as it dips. The matress was extremely comfy. This is a huge thing for me due to spine injury and It was beautiful. No pain in back from it. Spot on.

We stayed in Comfort 4 caravan no 55 with hot tub in March 2024. This is a very basic and unclean caravan. Would not return to this accommodation. Smell of stagnant damp/drains throughout caravan Sofas smelt of damp and stinky feetBathroom smelt bad of blocked drains In the double bedroom there was black mould on curtains and in the corners of ceilingIdentified some damp used towels in the main and overhead wardrobes of the twin room. Bedding in twin room smelt bad - damp/musty and not fresh. Informed reception of towels and these were removed but didnt improve the poor smell. We purchased air fresheners in an attempt to make the accommodation smell better. They didnt help. Hot tub clean but lid covered in black mould. Not private. We had sole use but it is placed on the front decking overlooking the park, looking straight into neighbours window with a view of 16 other caravans and their cars. Kitchen adequately stocked but no basics such as tea, coffee, sugar, foil, oil, salt or pepper provided. Tea towel, bin bag, scourer, washing up liquid provided. The boiler broke on our second-to-last night and we had a very cold night with no hot water. It was fixed promptly the next morning when we called the site manager. We left an item in the caravan. Called reception on the day we checked out and the following day. The following week we received a call and had to arrange a courier at our expense to return. We ate at the Post Inn just 1 min from the campsite and the food was hot, fresh, delicious and good value with friendly service, definitely recommend. We also parked up at Okehampton station and walked to Meldon viaduct, flat level and easy walk. Perfect for bikes. We also ate at Bearslake Inn, a beautiful thatched pub serving perfect food and only 10 min walk to the stone viaduct on Granite Way. Definitely recommend a visit to pub and the walk. Would not be booking this accommodation again.

All the things in the caravan were lovely and what we were expecting to be like, only thing that let it down a tiny bit was that there was no hairdryer for us women to dry our hair with (thats just a small picky comment that didnt effect the overall stay at all just a thing to think about moving forward?).

Stayed here for a 2nd time, this time disappointing.Constant "hum" from the caravan - it was not the hot tub. Looked at fridge - after turning off "hum" became quieter however the noise appeared to be coming from somewhere else, it would stop intermittently and then would "hum" again for hours. Upon arrival there were crumbs left on worktop, some of the cutlery and utensils hadn't been cleaned properly and in the twin single bedroom some of the pillows were dirty. The furniture is very "tired" and threadbare and there was black mould on bottom of net curtains.2 large biffa waste bins pushed up against the back of the caravan.

The bed was initially a little too firm but I got used to it, my partner not so much. Overall it was very comfortable

My fiance and I stayed at the ledge for 4 nights for her birthday. The lodge is lovely and fairly private thanks to the long hedge row and bushes to one side and the back. The lodge is lovely and spacious. The beds were comfy and there was plenty of storage space, the kitchen is large and has pretty much everything you need including a dishwasher, washing machine, freezer and 2 fridges! WiFi had great signal which is common in these places in my experience. The bathrooms were large and well appointed. My only criticism which for most will be irrelevant, was not being able to use the gas fire in the living room. But it didnt ruin our stay but would have been ideal as it was super cold during our stay and the living area is a big space to heat for two radiators. But from a safety aspect, I can understand why we couldnt use. Finally.. the hot tub.. big enough for 4 adults with ease. Places to put drinks, multi coloured lighting and adjustable temperature. It was perfect! And it wasnt too far from the doors of the lodge so you dont freeze on the way back in! The patio furniture was a bonus and the decking is large. The privacy screen to one side of the hot tub was a bonus too. Thank you for having us! Well be back for sure!

We arrived for a short break and was immediately met with wind that shook this caravan quite violently the whole time we were there. We also experienced a power cut which again we were given a torch and a gas lighter.Fridge and everything else including hot tub not working due to this. The mattress on the bed had seen better days.I came away for a quiet break but the cross winds were horrendous.

Absolutely loved our break away and was pleasantly surprised that the lodge is even more beautiful than in the photos. The mattresses were uncomfortable and some of the furnishing were slightly damaged or tired but it didnt affect how we felt about our stay. We had a wonderful Christmas getaway, thank you.

we had an amazing stay and the lodge and the hot tub were superb, we had a chilled break and the site was nice and quiet, the staff are really helpful and even though it was cold out side the cabin was toasty. We stayed for 4 nights the accommodation seemed very new with all the accessories we could need, thoroughly recommend this as a break, did i say i loved the hot tub, sat in a hot tub drinking a beer in the snow what could be better.

Had a lovely stay in this spacious lodge. Hot tub was perfect. Location was ideal for exploring Devon and we certainly did plenty of that. Peaceful place, great for a relaxing break.

Lovely clean site away from everywhere, good base to stay as we wanted to see a lot off Devon, north and south. We had a VIP gold caravan with a hot tub, which was very relaxing to come home to after our days adventure.
