Fun Days Out in Lancashire

Head for the Bowland Wild Boar park and we don't think you will be disappointed.  A popular attraction in Preston there is so much to do for the whole family.  From picnics, walks and wildlife to experiencing feeding the animals you are sure to have a memorable day out.  Also popular is the kids tractor play area.  For rest and relaxation the cafe is ideal serving hot drinks and snacks with a lovely view over the pond and wildlife feeding station.  The Forest of Bowland has been declared an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Ribby Hall Village Reviews

We have just spent Saturday evening and night at Ribby Hall and attended the Christmas Party / meal. The food and service were excellent as was the live band. Our party of 8 traveled from Bolton in the poor weather and we are all glad we did as we had a great time. We will certainly be back next year and hopefully will stay in the hotel although our lodges this time we very good. Well done to all who made it such a great weekend.

The Ribby Ruby is very spacious and comfortable. Very well equipped as well. Only gripe was the parking. While not the fault of the park itself, some people thought nothing about parking extra vehicles in your allocated space. Apart from that minor issue, we would definitely stay in one again.

Sarah
First visit and we loved it, our children loved the pool, soft play and especially the playareas!
Wayne
Really nice short break, excellent location and facilities. It was clean and tidy and ideal for our family. It was expensive on site using the facilities or shop with lots of things having additional charges.
Vincent
Ribby Hall is a lovely place to stay, it has great facilities. We have kids so the pool/spa area was particularly good as it's great for kids in particular, while also providing things for adults to do at the same time. The only issue we had was that there are far too many cars on site, we booked a Ribby Ruby, each of which has one allocated parking space, but someone who took 2 cars parked in our allocated space for the whole duration of the stay. Fortunately the cottage next door was empty, but had we have a disabled child, so would have struggled if we couldn't get a space.
John
Great thanks
