Fun Days Out in Inverness-Shire

Landmark Theme Park is a popular family attraction in Scotland and is a great choice for those with children of varied ages. The site is packed with attractions to keep the whole family amused. Landmark is rather unique as a theme park as it is based around nature. Activities include Tree Topping and Rock climbing although there are also some more traditional theme park rides such as a log flume. The park is abundant with nature including Red Squirrels and Clydesdale Horses and there is also a new Pinewood Grill for tasty snacks and a Gift Shop.

The amazing Loudoun Castle Theme Park is the largest in Scotland taking up a staggering 500 acres of glorious countryside. The park is suitable for visitors of all ages and has an excellent choice of rides including thrilling Rollercoasters. The site also hosts some fantastic family shows including the popular 'Walk the Plank' High Dive Show.  This place is much more than a theme park though, and younger children in particular will love the Dougal McDougal's farm area where the inhabitants include friendly goats, pigs and llamas as well as rabbits and other small pets.

Spey Valley Country Club Reviews

Date of stay: 23rd July 2017
Accommodation type: Two Bed Chalet
Our chalet was perfect as we had a REFURBISHED apartment. This is why I scored it highly. Based on the refurbished apartment our holiday is a 9/10. Stayed yearly over 10 years and it's an amazing place to stay but it's time the finished all apartments off to the same standard

Some of the furnishings were dated. Very dusty under beds. The duvet for the sofabed had a musty smell.

we were put in a Patio apartment and it was really great .
Grahame, Falkirk
Date of stay: 21st April 2014
Accommodation type: Highland Villa
We have booked villa C6 a number of times over the period and about 10 years ago we reported the 2 tread and riser on the stair as faulty and dangerous, if there has been any attempt to repair it it has been half hearted. We also reported the TV system as faulty, we were told that they were having trouble with the phone lines, a shrug of the shoulders a reboot of the box was the answer. Wrong we had to continually reboot system, not much good when you have 2 young grandchildren with you who like their TV in the morning when everyone is getting ready for the days activities. I counted about 25 small issues that in themselves are not important but when you add them up do become an issue that detract from the quality of the premises.
I will book the villa again, but feel that the current maintenance regime is letting McDonalds down in their quest for 5 star quality.
Excellent location
