There was nothing at this venue that we would have changed although the sauna was a little small. This did not bother us as we are not giants but I wonder how someone a little larger than us would have fitted. Overall excellent

Evernia is a fantastic lodge, spotlessly clean and so cosy. It is so peaceful and quiet just perfect for a romantic getaway. We especially loved the hot tub on the decking which overlooks the the park but is still really private. There are only 5 lodges and they are well spaced out. We will definitely return to Springwood Lodges and would choose Evernia again although we would happily stay in any of the lodges.

Fantastic and truly memorable
Perfect. A real relaxing break.
Amazing as always! Our 5th time now. Our bit of paradise! Love it so much. Have booked for a whole week for next year already.
Wonderful place
Our 4th visit to grondal. Superb location and a great base for visiting the dales. We will be back !
The lodge we stayed in was Evernia. The lodge was immaculately clean upon arrival and was toasty warm. The lodge was spacious and cosy. The bed was comfy and the bedroom a nice size. The hot tub was spotlessly clean and was checked daily by staff. The prosecco and chocolates upon arrival is a great. The woodland surroundings were perfect and tranquil. There is a lovely little town called Pateley bridge about ten minutes drive from the lodge , and a great pub which serves lovely pub food (with themed menu nights - delicious and at an excellent price) called the Royal Oak (Dacre) this is about 20 minutes walk from the lodge. All in all these lodges are ideally located , everything is within a short drive/cycle and there is plenty to do whilst being a nice relaxing retreat.
This was one of the most relaxing venues we have every stayed at an will visit the venue again (already booked)
Excellant location. Lovely relaxing few days. Perfect place to stay for peace and quiet. Would recommend.
this lodge is in a beautiful setting, it was lovely and peaceful in the hot tub watching the birds, there is a sauna which is easy to use, and the complimentary prosecco and chocs went down well, the lodge was very clean no cobwebs!
This was our first visit to Springwood Lodges, we stayed in Sneugle and it was wonderful! We needed a break away from the rat race and this place was absolutely perfect, it is a hidden gem. Everything about it is lovely, we enjoyed the hot tub and the sauna was an added bonus. The wild bird feeders attracted lots of different birds and we even had a pheasant that would come and take food from you. As soon as we arrived home we booked again for a future stay. We would highly recommend Springwood Lodges if you are looking for a relaxing and peaceful getaway.
Fantastic place just off the beaten track but up a steep hill! Without a car it's pretty difficult to walk with bags etc. But what a place surrounded by nature the only noise is the wind through the trees and the occasional low jet. Would very quickly book again without hesitation.
