Visitor Reviews of Augill Beck Holiday Park

Date of stay: 4th April 2025
The lodge was perfect for us, spacious and spotlessly clean. We did notice some traffic noise from the road, but honestly, it became just background noise after a while. Overall, a lovely stay!

We spent a few nights here for a birthday getaway. The lodge was well-equipped and the welcome pack was a thoughtful surprise. Watching the deer and rabbits around the park was such a lovely sight. Wed happily come back!

The pod is really well kitted out, but the upstairs mattress could be thicker.

We had a really nice stay at this lodge. The location is super private, which was perfect for some peace and quiet. The hot tub was a lovely touch and added to the relaxing vibe. The place was generally clean when we arrived, just a few marks here and there, which is pretty normal with regular use. The kitchen had everything we needed and we used it a lot. The only downside was the bed - it wasnt the comfiest, but it didnt ruin our trip. Would definitely recommend for a peaceful getaway!

We had a lovely stay at the lodge! It's really spacious and in a great spot with easy access to explore the area. The welcome pack was a lovely touch, especially the hand wash and shower gel, which made us feel special. Seeing roe deer and rabbits right outside was a real bonus. The mattress was a bit soft for our liking, but overall, we enjoyed it!

We stayed at The Pines for three nights and honestly, it was great. The lodge has everything you'd want, plus a hot tub which was a lovely touch. Definitely recommend!

We found this place to be a fantastic base for exploring the lakes, perfect for getting around easily. Its definitely more of a lodge style rather than a traditional lodge - kinda like a super-sturdy caravan, really comfy but with thin walls and small doors, which was a bit surprising. On the plus side, having dressing tables and mirrors in two of the bedrooms was a big win for us! The hot tub was honestly the best weve ever experienced in any of our trips - we do a couple a year, so thats saying something. The kitchen was also top-notch, the best weve had in any holiday rental. The welcome pack was a lovely touch and there were plenty of towels. Yes, theres some road noise from the A66, but you soon get used to it. Overall, a great stay - wed definitely come back!

We had a lovely stay here as a family of four. The whole place felt very chill and helped us unwind - we didnt feel the need to explore much, which was perfect. Our two dogs loved it too, especially when they saw a rabbit! The lodge was spotless, spacious and surprisingly cosy. Definitely recommend!

Date of stay: 9th October 2024
We had a great stay at this lodge! The leather sofas were super comfy and the big TV kept us entertained. The kitchen had everything we needed, which was handy. Central heating was spot on, easy to control and kept us cosy. The three bedrooms were spacious, though the en suite mattress could do with an upgrade. Still, it didnt ruin our holiday at all. Would definitely recommend!

We had a really lovely time at this place, perfect for exploring the lakes and North Pennines. Staying in the S-pod was great for us since its just the right size for a couple and even solo trips. The pod is modern and well-stocked - it has everything from a kitchen with a hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, to a fridge/freezer. The living space was comfy, with a sofa that turns into a double bed, a TV, DVD player and plenty of storage. The bathroom was spotless, with a powerful shower. Outside, the decking overlooks a pretty stream and has a table and chairs, perfect for eating outside after a long walk. The park offers all sorts of holiday units, some with hot tubs for bigger groups. We really enjoyed our stay and the owners are super friendly too!

We stayed at the pet-friendly Elms Lodge and appreciated the nice welcome pack, that was a lovely touch. Sadly, the place was let down by a pretty strong cheesy or dirty mop smell in the living and kitchen areas, which wasnt great. The separate WC kept flooding every time we flushed and when we reported it, they just turned it off, so we couldnt use it after that. The bed was comfy and the kitchen was OK, but those issues really put a dampener on our stay.

The pod was lovely-super tidy and well stocked. Perfect spot for some peace and quiet, whether exploring the countryside or just chilling out watching squirrels and rabbits. Loved it!

We really enjoyed our stay here; the place was peaceful and perfect for a chillout. Getting around was straightforward-visiting castles and small towns for shopping was easy. The lodges info book was super handy and were already thinking of coming back soon!
