Visitor Reviews of Bodmin Holiday Park

Bodmin Holiday Park was last minute booking for us, we had never visited before, the site was easy to find, clean and tidy with friendly staff. The pool was a great facility to have with easily accessible stairs, our children loved it. We enjoyed our holiday and would book again although my only complaint would be it does need a little TLC and maintenance, our lodge (34) had broken locks, shower controls and bath, the shower curtain could do with replacing as well, and there was damp in the corner of the downstairs bedroom, there were also several broken locks in the changing area.

Accommodation was fantastic for the money, pity the restaurant, bar and shop were only open for very limited times. Surrounding area though made up for what the site was lacking.

Our bungalow was outstanding , very clean and spacious. We had no need of contact with staff after arrival , as we used the accommodation as a base . Lovely to come back to the site and relax in the peace and quiet .

Just a few things missing like bedroom bedside lamps.

Villa its self - mould on kitchen floor which when you enter the villa the smell hits you. Balcony is not viable the doors in the bedroom have a grasp lock so you cannot acces the balcony. The balcony itself looks like it hasnt been used for years and the wood is rotton. Upstairs bathroom sink has seen better days, the jacuzzi bath had a sign on to say not working however it did work but as not been used or cleaned alot of mould flew out of the jets. Light on vanity mirror in the bathroom didnt work one side. Main bedroom the sheets had ***** and stains on so there was luckily spare bedding on the cupboard so i changed the bed. No towels provided but was advised that at the time of booking. The bed itself was comfortable. The cutlery pans cups and plate provided in the villa were dirty like the last person staying there just put the items back in the cupboard. Surely this should be checked between people staying no drama i had to wash up but really its another think i shouldnt of had to do. Sofas uncomfortable. Heating and hot water worked all ok.
