Overall the stay was good.The kitchen, diner & living area were perfect. Smart TV with free view, options on lighting which helped with a baby.Lodges could however do with a bit more privacy, people could see clearly in from their lodges via all windows. The bathroom could have done with having frosted glass so that some natural light could be used, we had to keep the blind down the whole trip.The shower was perfect, hot & powerful, however hot water does run out very quickly if you've done washing up & two showers. The towel rail is very small which means it's tricky to get your towels on there. We were lucky it was just two adults and one baby as if it was 4 people with a towel each they would be wet & smelly from not drying properly between uses.The bedroom is very small, with a very low down bed & noisy sheets that made a loud noise every time you moved even an inch. Unfortunately the floor creaked an awful lot which is a huge problem when you have a 6 month old sleeping. We tried to change to a different lodge, very happy to pay extra to do so, however reception said they don't deal with any reservations & to contact who we booked through. Contacted Hoseasons & they said there was no option to move unless we made a new booking paying some further £600 on top of our £800 already paid, which was already a lot of money for what we got.The location was great for exploring Cornwall.

Lodge very clean and comfortable and nicely equipped for a short break. Kitchen decor slightly tired with some kitchen cupboard doors peeling, but overall a lovely large family space to stay!

Nice clean and modern accommodation. Well thought out design although upstairs sockets not working but light were, so not a big problem. Downstairs heater was showing a fault. We were asked to pay a £100 deposit which I am hoping comes back quickly.

The house exceeded my expectation. I will book this property again.A few things however that i struggled with1. we could not watch TV as it was analog and did not suit the functions we wanted2. the sofa was worn and very low thus I sat mostly on the dining and on my bed3. The master suit was dark it needs some kore lighting especially at the dressing table4. There was no charging socket near the bed, and the only 2 that were in the room had a TV an its box, which had to be disconnected if use needed. We are coming to stay in this lodge again on summer but we will appreciate if these little discomforts were addressed.

One of the most peaceful holidays I have ever had. The grounds are beautiful and the lodges really are luxury. Very clean , homey, with top of the range fixtures, fittings and appliances. The staff are friendly and helpful. We didnt use the spa or restaurant, but both looked lovely. Would definitely return and have already recommended Clowance to family and friends.

We loved our accommodation. It was a beautifully arranged lodge that had a slightly rustic feel with exposed wooden beams. The Kitchen area was easy to work with. Everything you needed was there in front of you. It was very clean & tidy. The bedrooms were lovely too with plenty of space & the beds wernt too narrow, which gave us all a good nights sleep. But the highlight was the view we were greeted with every time we walked into the living room area. Large windows allowing optimum light to flood in with the most beautiful backdrop of Tall mature majestic trees, which youd expect from an estate thats hundreds of years old but beautifully maintained. And with the sun shining straight in we wondered if wed ever find anywhere better. We often spent the morning outside on the decking with drinks just relaxing. We would definitely recommend it.

Had such a lovely stay, couldnt fault the resort. Loved the extra facilities on offer, including tennis, swimming and the gym etc. Lakeview Spa number 5 was beautiful, with a stunning view out onto the lake in front. Will definitely be returning in the future when visiting Cornwall.

Lodge was well equipped and very clean.Cleanest lodge we have stayed in.Hot tun and outdoor seating allowance new and very prestine.Kept informed of procedures regarding check in and when lodge was ready. Good customer relations. Housekeeping were amazing at helping with missing items,soon resolved. Grounds were well maintained and site very well kept. If you do like to use the facilities and restaurant it can be a bit of a trek on foot.Restaurant and bar amazing,lovely staff and all areas were often cleaned regularly by staff. Food was yummy and good selection of drinks.Would say maybe more signage for lodge numbers,if you arrive late,can be a bit of an issue.Would definitely say 5plus site.Can't wait to return.

Great holiday with incredible on site facilitiesThe children's menu in the restaurant in basic and slightly over priced Swimming pool clean and incredibly tidy.The lodge was spacious, great facilities, slightly worn furniture but a few cushions and new curtains would ensure this freshens up the place.Only downside would be the lack of privacy with the hot tub. When you are in the hot tub there is a cover behind you so your neighbours do not see you, however on the balcony area there you can see onto other peoples area. Not great when kids are getting changed.

We have been upgraded to Finn lodge and the experience was a fab and the hot tub is a luxury bonus. We have had a nice and memorable holiday and celebrated my husbands bday with a fab. Loved the lodge, excellent value for money, only negative is that the sofa bed was not particularly comfortable.
