Minimal kitchen supplies and the furniture was a little tatty with a rip in the pouffe. But, it was clean and tidy and the location was excellent.Would recommend that the text we receive states details such as third lodge on the right etc to help those arriving in the dark - the names on the sheep are not that easy to see.

Great stay in our second lodge, we were only missing a king size bed and a wooden spoon. Everything else was perfect, including the extra special touches

Teesdale lodge was nice and spacious a bonus to have a washing machine. A few areas could do with some tlc (the hot tub had seen better days for example and the hob ignitor was broken, although could still be used). Rug in the living room seemed full of dog hairs and we always seemed to be picking hairs off clothes as a result (I know it's a dog friendly large but still didn't expect to be delivered hairing our children as much). Would still recommend as was good value for money, just make sure to take your own bottle opener ????

Me and my partner stayed on 27.09.2024-30.09.2024. Before check in I received a lovely message about information on the lodge and any details we needed, which was really helpful. When checking in, I updated them that we had arrived and they wished us a pleasant stay. There was an information booklet with lots of details in for the surrounding area, how to use the log burner and other information what may have been helpful. The stay was really enjoyable. We loved the cosiness of the lodge and the log burner was the perfect addition! My partner loved it. The logs are charged extra but to be honest, it was £12 for a weekends worth which wasnt bad at all.The park was really quiet and didnt hear much noise. There was a few girls in the next cabin enjoying themselves on the first night but we didnt mind them having fun and you couldnt hear them when the door was closed. The location is great, the taxi wasnt a long ride into Cartmel. Which was nice for food and entertainment. Grange over sands is around 8 minutes in the car but theres not much to do there but has a few nice places to eat.I did think the lodge would have been larger but it honestly didnt affect my stay at all.Towels, soap and shampoo were provided. There was also tea, coffee, sugar and even a bottle of milk in the fridge. There was all the added extras that I would have wanted but I had already brought some in case they werent provided. There was even a sticky toffee pudding in the fridge. The TV was great! It was a smart TV meaning we didnt need to resort to finding something on free view on our chilled days. All in all an enjoyable stay and would definitely look at returning!

We had a wonderful stay in Romney Lodge. The Lodge itself is really comfortable, clean and cosy and a great size for 2. The hot tub was great. It was about a mile walk into Cartmel, probably only walkable during daylight hours. Would definitely recommend for a romantic break and will be returning lovely ????

Lovely quiet site. Very peaceful. Lodge was very nice and comes with all you need, including a bottle of milk In the fridge with some tea and coffee supplies which was very much welcomed. Even a Cartmel Toffee puddling. Hot Tub cleaned and refilled around 4 times during our 7 night stay which was just enough. Loved the private location of the hot tub, not overlooked by anyone or any other cabin. Lovely large lodge supplied with tea towel washing up liquid and tabs for the dishwasher which was a lovely touch. The only thing I could suggest is better signage as on arrival the lodge was a little hard to find. Also the beds were on the harder said which may be to your liking but I struggled a bit

Shaun lodge contained all the necessities for a relaxing break, enabling us to cook and clean throughout our stay. The log burner provides a cosy evening, while the hot tub definitely helps you to relax after a day of walking

Great holiday and lovely lodge, lots of new rules for the lodge which differed to the last time we visited, hottub was emptied before the time we had to leave so we lost out on a morning dip before going home, check in and out times are also abit different and we do lose a fair amount of time otherwise spot on clean and tidy facilities
